Do you wear a wrist watch ??
Hadn't thought much about it until someone pointed out they simply just use their cell phone for time so didn't bother with a watch at all.
I have a couple really good ones but yeah since i haven't been anywhere in particular for the past 12 months i haven't been putting a watch on and leave the house without. Guess i never thought about it and how i do simply just check the phone screen instead. Once shit here eventually opens up though (unless the UK fucks it again) i will be sporting a watch again. :upsidedow https://moderndiplomacy.eu/wp-conten...lex-oyster.jpg |
I used to be a mad watch collector but now they sit gathering dust replaced with a Chinese tech wristband.
|
I still wear a watch.
|
i cunt a4d2 wear a wrist watch... :(
but i do wear a fitbit (government issued) which also kinda acts like a wrist watch... |
Yes. It's the only jewelry a man can wear :)

I don´t personally care for expensive watches, I sadly seem to damage them all the time, so usually have a new one bought for me every few months, cheap ones, they do...
however, my friend, he has a taste for expensive watches, buying designer 1 to 5 grand watches, now with about 10 to his collection, it´s pretty cool! https://i.gyazo.com/159ba43d372e0957...403f93dd51.png the omega speedmaster moonwatch come with extra accessories like divers strap and an astronauts velcro strap a strap changing tool and an eye glass and moonwatch plaque... https://i.gyazo.com/940781be7ec55281...efcc58e070.png Gary has a nice Seiko watch, was about 250, only wears it for dress, you´re absolutely right, these days, we check out phones the majority of the time :thumbsup |
I have three, never wear any of them. my fav is the one my dad bought me when I turned 18, which was approximately 100 years ago

No. I just follow/feel the rhythm of the day.

I wear a very discreet garmin vivoactive 4 - even when sleeping, to track my health and in case I crash my bike. It's a great way to stay fit and focused

I always wear a watch.
Most of you will laugh at this but I like the Skagen watches. My first purchase on a credit card was Skagen watch (1989?) and I've always liked them. I like thin watches, not big bulky things. |
Yes, a Timex with a button to light up the face of the watch to see the time.

I bought a TAG in 1980 for a grand, I thought I was in tall cotton wiping my ass with the top leaf. Now it's worn out from constant scuba diving when I ran a dive boat in the 90's. Wish I could get it replated with the gold that's gone now. |
I wear a smartwatch with biomonitoring to survey my health :thumbsup
|
|
For sure but I wear it on my right wrist.

Did you here about the robbery in a Beverly Hills restaurant? Richard-Mille 11-03 rose gold Flyback Chronograph. Worth about 500 Grand.
Jeweler was supposed to be meeting a client at a restaurant when he got robbed. I bet the client is getting questioned. |
I've been collecting watched for the last 10 years. No wonder I am left with no money.
|
Never been one for jewelry.
IMO the less I know the time, the faster it goes by. :) |
If you get the chance and are in Geneva, visit The Patek Philippe Museum, even if you dont care about watches

Well, it is faster to move arm to see what time it is then pulling cellphone out of pocket, so there is some use of watches lol. Tho, i wish analog clock would be modernized, like having a rechargeable battery over usb.

was beaten recycled silver bought off Etsy for about $40 so not like I threw away anything of commercial value. not like you and fancy pants Sam with your watches even though I stayed with my ex for another 3 years after that and loved him with every atom of my being, fuck I hated that ring. felt more like ownership than anything to do with love wedding rings in general are bullshit and a chain rather than an indication of a real bond with someone keep your ring off and go hug your wife and then give her an orgasm or 3 if that's allowed in Scotland :upsidedow |

Edit: I see the watch was part of the same incident as the shooting, so that is sort of less crazy. Sort of. |

As about jewelry and shiny glasses, I leave that for girls. I'm a straight man, so that's not a my piece of cake. |
