Anyone watching the Chauvin Trial?

It seems that the media was making excuses why there were not more protesters.

I can see the Covid excuse but they were blaming the weather... we had 70 degree weather yesterday. The riots were going on in colder weather and with covid.

It's almost like the media is trying to instigate more to come to protest/riot. It was more than once that they kept mentioning this.

Ferus 03-30-2021 04:23 AM

How about you take your idiotic ramblings to the https://gfy.com/politics-and-more/ section where they belong?

It seems to be you and another that are making a Headline News story a political post, not me. I made a comment on the broadcasting of the trial nothing more.

Again, HOW IS THIS POLITICAL, please explain yourself!

EDIT: This is more against corporate media and they way they over sensationalize news stories for ratings which is "Business Discussion and Fucking Around" ;)

You asked how this is politics but this is the first post about it? Media is either Left or Right-wing biased media.

There are many ways you could've started this and it would not be politics but this trial will always bring up politics into it.

k0nr4d 03-31-2021 05:19 AM

This is definately political because it's a trial who's outcome symbolizes the existence of black oppression by white police.

That is unfortunate, it's all part of the brainwashing of our citizens.

Everything is one thing or another but cannot be anything else. Gotta love it. And we wonder why society is so fucked up.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

for those bitching... well stay the fuck out of this post since you think it is something that it is not. Media over sensationalizing stories is the topic. Did that really fly over your head? Maybe you just want to start conflict... who knows. You go ahead and do what you do... we will all sit and laugh :1orglaugh

I live here, this shit was happening 5 blocks away from me... I could smell the tear gas that was used... I watched them march down the main street from my back porch. So... this is news to me. NOT politics. :321GFY

I think that happened with Rodney King... They were acquitted for the beating.

I can see your point, and that was good of you to actually back up your statement. And if I was commenting on something that might pertain to the actual incident your point might be valid.

However I was commenting on the media coverage and the excuses they were making for not having more protesters. It was like they were disappointed, they knew their news stories would not be as dramatic.

Drama sells... christ, just look at all those damn reality competition shows. Now they have a cooking competition with children... FUCK!!!! Tell me I'm wrong. :winkwink:

I re-read everything... except the name in the title (Chauvin Trial... which was needed to describe what my post was talking about).... I see nothing remotely political. Just media sensationalism and their tactics.

How else would I describe the media coverage and their disappointment? People would not know what the hell I was talking about without that description in the title.

With this I agree completely. The circus must always continue. Where there is no drama, they must create drama. If he is found innocent, then it was clearly the work of white supremacy because people are bored of hearing the word 'covid' every 15 seconds and more people will watch the news if there are riots.

Thank you for seeing my point :thumbsup

I will not comment on the rest as that might be bringing the political side into this post. That was not my intention. :winkwink:

It does matter; your inability to see/know the difference just proves you don't know jack.

I know what I see. I see a cop that murdered a man in public. Do you think the guy died of a drug overdose while the cop's knee was crushing his neck? He will probably be convicted of second-degree manslaughter, but he should be convicted of second-degree unintentional murder. I certainly doubt a third-degree murder charge.

What matters is he killed a man and the sentence he will get will fit the parameters of all three charges because they won't give him the max. How's that? Jack.

What is wrong with my life?

Applebite Media 04-02-2021 05:04 AM

The police body cam, at least the one cop in the middle holding down Floyd.... shows Floyd taking (what looked like) his last breath. At one point, you see the cops hand grab the back of the SUV's front tire like he is applying more force to the body. It was shortly after that when Floyd stopped breathing.

The defense is laying doubt and technicalities, angry crowd, traffic... bla bla bla...

Simple fact is, they did not need to keep him in that position for so long. They could have kept him on the ground and still submissive on his side without the knee in the neck.

Sad thing about trials... it's not about innocent or guilt, it's all about who tells the better story. Even if these witnesses get that little bit of info in before it's over ruled, it gets removed from the transcript. That is what the jury is bound to, that and the evidence.
