50+ and vaccinated.
Anyone? What brand? Aftermath of feeling?
|
Im 45 and got pfizer without any problems. Two friends just over 50 got the astrazeneca and was down with light flu-like symptoms for 2 days.
The new Johnson & Johnson is said to be easy on you and cover many of the new mutations, so I would go for that one next year if I no other better option is there |

Unfortunately in EU it's still pretty limited what you can get :( Or if you are younger then to even have something at all :)
|
I've had jab 1 of pfizer - jab 2 in May. No ill effects,
|
I get my second Pfizer shot on the 7th. Nothing happened with the first but I did have a sore arm for a day
|
I'll be getting the Pfizer one in a few days in Canada here. Glad to hear it's no big deal.
|
I am 54. I got mine while I was a houseguest of Uncle Sam. I don't know what flavor it was. They never told us.
|
I am 52 and I am getting my first Moderna shot in the morning.
My kid hot her J&J shot today. |
I'm 53 and got Pfizer. First shot there were no side effects at all - not even injection site soreness. Everyone says the 2nd shot is worse because the antibodies from the first shot react to the 2nd shot. I got the 2nd shot 3/10 and there was injection site soreness (but not as bad as when I got Shingrix), and then overnight I had a fever that got up to 100.0º (F, 37.8º C). I was expecting worse so didn't take Tylenol, but it never got worse - just kept me up most of the night. And that was about it until the following morning when I had weird memory problems for a couple hours - I'd forget things I was thinking about a minute or two earlier.
My husband (also 53) got Moderna months ago now. His side effects were pretty mild as well - injection site soreness and a bit of a fever for a few hours. So all in all, not bad. The side effects from Shingrix are worse (and if you're over 50 you should be getting that as well). |

Apparently, 40+ has been open for several days now in Poland, there is a choice between the 3 - Pfizer, Moderna & AstraZenecca.
|

I am 35 and I got my first shot of Astrazeneca two weeks ago. I had some soreness on my shoulder and some headache for two days but overall it was ok. My girlfriend got her with me but she had some fever and chills on the first night after the shot. My parents had both shots of Pfizer they are both over 70 and they didn't felt anything!
|
I'm 70 and a few months. Got the AZ here in NW England.
Had upper body aches a few hours later. Took one "Paracetamol," which relieved the aches, but my right foot blew up with what appeared to be Hives. I am not aware that Paracetamol is available in the US, so I never had taken it before. Took a Ibuprofen, and aches and foot settled down. I think I took one more, 2 days later. That was 2 months ago, they are not administering the second dose until 3 months after the first. |
I am 41 and can't wait to get vaccinated against covid. I prefer Pfizer, but won't say no to any brands at this very moment - I just want it asap to have a little chance to have a "regular" summer...
|
Waiting for my first one :Oh crap hope I'll get through it easily
|
Just got my first Pfizer shot.
Arm is pretty sore hours later. Much like a booster shot. Needle was long, but quite thin. Nothing like a testosterone injection. Which has a very thick needle. |

got my 1st dose of Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine today. So far I'm feeling fine with no effects ...
BTW does this look normal after a shot? https://media2.giphy.com/media/3otOK...d3yM/giphy.gif |
54, both jabs of Moderna, no issues.
|
My 2nd will be in 10 days... AZ.
Then International Travel will be around the corner. |
Local clinic still not taking people that are NOT their patient for the past 3 years even though listed on the State's site as being a vaccine location.
Restrictions in this state are 16 and older and at 56 still having a hard time getting in without lengthy travel. Even the Walgreen's about a mile and a half further... that is suppose to take anyone... is not taking appointments either. Only time I have missed having a vehicle.... otherwise, we could drive to the suburbs and get one where they seem to have put all the vaccine centers. Us city folk are kinda fucked atm. |
36 here, and got the 1st Sinopharm vaccine last Friday. Waiting for my second shot that's coming in about 1.5, 2 weeks. No side effects, nothing. My mom, 60, got her second Sinopharm 2 weeks ago with no symptoms either. I'm in Hungary atm, but got the vaccine in Serbia. You don't need to sign up for one, you just go in, ask for it and you get it ;)
|
I had the first Phizer shot a couple of weeks ago and no issues at all. Second one comes next week.
