This whole situation could have been easily diffused if they just opened the phone and showed his apps/wallpaper.

I realize they didn't legally have to do this without a search warrant. Seems like they wanted to be "victims".

She was clearly pissed off as she should have been. iPhones can cost over a thousand bucks. As I said, they could have easily diffused the situation by showing her that the phone he had wasn't in fact hers. She probably would have said "oh okay, that looks just like my phone which I lost, sorry". Case closed.

I'm from the New Orleans area. My schoolmates and friends were about half and half black/white. Many of my heroes growing up were black athletes and performers.
