Canada implemented some of the most strict lockdowns on the planet. At the borders they turned their flags upside down. International sign of a nation in distress. Essentially, asking the USA for help through a symbol

One province, Ontario, has recently (poorly) implemented stricter lockdown measures. As a symbolic protest, some people flew the Canadian flag upside down at Niagara Falls. This was a protest by a small group of people.
