a member of this board is trying to extort me for $600 for 3 hours of work, says he knows the admins here and unless i pay the $600 he will have my account cancelled, etc. the deal was $10 a hour, not $200...

Dear GFY Admins, it was my friend who got scammed, the guy doesn't even have an account here and he sent you an email with whole explanation. He asked me to post and let you know about what actually happened, since the OP doesn't have any proofs of what he's saying.

BTW Admins can easily check everything, so I'm not worried at all. Post a proof that I'm the scammer, so we all see.

There was plenty of proof in this thread regarding ThuNguyen scamming. In fact he admitted to selling the site, then logging in and changing the login details after the sale, effectively blocking the buyer from having access to it. Not sure why he wasn't instabanned.

Where would you draw the line? people like 12Clicks have been running hidden cross-sales for decades, do we consider that scamming? Kmanrox ran a way with a LOT of peoples money from rehabdollars, and he just get away with claiming "I cant say anything because of my contract"

Would be interesting to see a "code of conduct" being written, but I doubt that is possible.

He must have deleted the post but he had a Google Analytics screenshot of his website. It had pretty good traffic but a 50% bounce rate !! That's nothing to be proud of lol
