The Downside of the Hype of Bitcoin Make each Transaction VERY SLOW with a Higher fee's.
Some sites seem now to push toward using Litecoin (LTC) as their official crypto payment currency.
Litecoin (LTC) is a cryptocurrency that ranks among the top 10 in the crypto market cap. It was an early source-code fork of Bitcoin, created back in October 2011. Litecoin (LTC) addresses the shortcomings of Bitcoin in scaling to facilitate micropayments. The Litecoin (LTC) network processes a block every 2.5 minutes, rather than Bitcoin’s 10 minutes. This allows Litecoin (LTC) to confirm transactions way faster than Bitcoin and at much lower fees. The average transaction fee for Litecoin (LTC) is now ~ $0.50. Slow transactions and network fees for Bitcoin and Ethereum payments are no longer sustainable for most users. what ya think ? |
Very true. Bitcoin does take forever to confirm even when you use a higher fee.

Doge is best.
Not normal the fees for Ether and BTC. A bank transaction or transferwise is much cheaper. Maybe Ether 2.0, Or maybe another coin will take over the ether position. Bitcoin is only for big amounts or Hodl as investment or trading as i see it. |
thanks for the input guys :)
We are now playing with Litecoin (LTC) :thumbsup |
You might want to check out Algorand. Confirmations take less than 5 seconds and fees are less than 1¢.
This is one of the best eth competitors now. Along with Cardano and Solana. |

I am a member of the r/bitcoin subreddit. I once posted that I wanted to join a website. The fee to join was like 0.10$ or something. I tried to send BTC by Electrum and the fee was around $5. They didn't like it and deleted the post.
How is it in any way reasonable to charge so much to send bitcoin? Even if you are patient and want to wait a few days it doesn't get any better. I want to know what the best crypto is for day to day transactions that is likely to get accepted everywhere. Or, can Bitcoin fix these issues with lighening? Fucked if I know. |
You should read r/buttcoin instead.

xrp is one of the the fastest and one of the cheapest, yet its a token.

This is what "noncoinerism cope" looks like. Should've taken more time to study Bitcoin, it's technology, money, inflation, etc. Instead just machinegun spamming a vid that supports your anti-BTC garbage. |

Fast like Paypal Cheaper than Paypal Centralized like Paypal ... also why now and forever they'll have issues with SEC. |
Yeah, I bought some XRP years ago but I don't feel it. As jscott says it's too centralized.
Ok, let's imagine for a second that it's the year 2029. Fiat is on it's last legs. A dying relic if you will. By some miracle Crypto is being used by more than 20% of the worlds population. They are using a crypto that is decentralized, super fast and almost totally free. This crypto is being used in many high street stores and coffee shops worldwide. What, GFY would that Crypto be? I can't imagine seeing Nano in every store. What about BCH, LTC or something else? |
Can't wait when chaturbate change crypto payments to LTC or DASH

If you support Bitcoin please reject BCH and BSV. Litecoin can do the same or better speed/fee anyways, even Dash, Cardano, Monero can too. Bitcoin Lightning & Liquid is free & instant right now but will need more time to become better at user-friendliness. BCH/BSV are more centralized, less secure and are attacks on Bitcoin :disgust |
