Anybody a direct line to any 24/7 number?

No server, no email that will reach them.
Saw Mike is online in messenger now so hopefully he's too busy fixing (which would be the reason he cannot provide me with an update), it would be nice to know so we can let our SaaS users know what's up as well.

Naughty 04-24-2021 03:19 AM

Took a couple hours, but it's UP again.

jscott 04-24-2021 03:19 AM

we're back in BIZ!

Denny 04-24-2021 03:28 AM

My VPS is still offline.

Denny 04-24-2021 04:50 AM

Everyone is online now? I'm still offline for more than 3 hours and no response from support.

Ferus 04-24-2021 05:02 AM

A shame they dont communicate the progress on twitter when hit by a major incident like that. They should have solid plans for handeling these level of problems

plsureking 04-24-2021 05:53 AM

these vendors are always around when they're trying to sell some shit.

They're very solid & this is a VERY rare thing with Vacares.

Dont care. If you run a hosting company, you should be prepared for this.

Denny 04-24-2021 06:13 AM

I'm curious if support works today because I'm still offline and no word from them. I'm getting worried.

I don't disagree with you. Just pointing out this is a very rare situation. In many years with them never had a feeling they "were not there"

Denny 04-24-2021 08:02 AM

I'm still offline but got a reply from support at least.

Sly 04-24-2021 08:02 AM

Hello guys,

Apologies for not responding to this thread sooner, and we are still behind on a few support tickets. We have been dealing with this for the last 7 hours and will continue doing what we need to do to get this fixed. There was a power issue to our main rack. Most clients are back online, there are a few that are still not. Will update individually when resolved.

Much rather have you guys working on the issue than chatting with us on the boards.

Thanks for the update and as always Vacares for the win!

The people who work on the issue are usually not the same people who chat on the boards.

Does this have something to do with the shitty power grid in Texas?

Mine are up and I trust in Sly & Vacares. :)
