in the editor is it possible for the model to add their affiliates link code to their profile/ bio ?

Yup. Any links/URLs she wants, the only issue is with the platform itself.
For example Chaturbate has banned words (filter banned word Skype).
In a way makes sense that some websites to ban links from other similar services.
Promoting your MyFreeCams profile page on Chaturbate bio page... something like that.
But overall, yes affiliate/referral links are accepted by websites, on our editor no links are restricted.

overlays :mad:

Yup, don't get mad, but we did released the first batch of overlays for webcam performers.
Browser based overlays compatible (tested) with OBS and SplitCam Software.
But might not be something you or others expect to find.
We don't use video files in overlays concept because not every webcam performer is using an "airplane" as laptop/pc for live stream so we've optimized our resources for low performance hardware with a Controller environment which can be used for quick edit and actions trigger via mobile devices.
We've developed, tested and added stuff for engaging, interaction and entertainment:
- Mini games like roulette, spin wheel, dice, flip coin
- static overlays like brb/away screen, lower thirds, social icons and editable username, tip menus, top tippers so on.
No tip alerts for now, maybe the next release because we have a bigger project to go along this... so we'll keep this release hush-hush for now. ;)

True, opinions are on each side of the screen.. on one side there are webcam performers who search for ways to keep tippers on their rooms (and we've focused on this aspect) and on the other side are the premiums and freeloaders.
Premiums do get annoyed by some types of overlays which "obscure" the performer's activity but some just accept all because their fav model is on.... and all mighty freeloaders and recording bots which don't agree with any type of overlay because .... tadam... they can't remove those and record a good show to upload on other platforms so yup... I kind of understand the situation.
The best thing in the world is "freedom of choice" ... a performer can choose to use an overlay or not to use an overlay :)
What is the first purpose of our overlays for webcam performers?
Yes some of you might of guess it. Providing new tools to webcam performer to squeeze more tokens (from guys with some tokens in balance) via interactive mini-games, reach my goal, spin wheel, dice, flip coin widgets and stuff like that.

So, on one barricade the majority are premiums and freeloaders against overlays and on the other side are the webcam performers and studio owners.
We can make happy only one side :)

can we do trail editing

I am sorry, I am not familiar with "trail editing" ... what does it defines/means.
If you can spare a moment to explain I would be more than happy to give you an answer.
My search throws only GPS trails and something related with long exposure photo editing.
