Liquor Stores In The USA
In Massachusetts they call liquor stores “package stores” or “packies.” I just read a post on Facebook about this. When I lived in New Hampshire and Maine, I never asked what they were called. I just remember Massachusetts license plates in NH to avoid the tax on liquor. Friends would do huge runs up north for liquor!
Do you call the liquor store anything else? |

Every state has their own liquor laws.

When I was a kid growing up in NJ we had "Liquor Stores".
Here in California you buy booze in any grocery store, Wal-Mart, Target.... We surely don't go to a "special" store that only sells booze. |

Things changed in Massachusetts when the age was raised to 21 to drink from 18. |
