Anyone played Resident Evil Village ??
 

Been waiting for This one for a while.

The last Resident Evil was my fave PS4 game. So yeah just set this one to download on PS5 so will get a solid couple hours of play tonight. :thumbsup

I've watched the youtuber called 'jacksepticeye' play most of the way through it... but I've just dipped in and out. Although I enjoyed the OG RE back in the day, its not really my sorta game.

They kind of lost me after 5... I don't think I even played 6 and definitely not 7. Worth picking up?

I was going to play the original RE HD Remaster before anything else since the original game was so great.

5 and 6 were shit yeah. 7 brought new perspective to the genre. It's cheap as hell to buy now (or free actually if you have ps pass).

The remaster HD of the original was great mostly for nostalgic reasons but yeah was a nice tidy up of the graphics aswell. They did a good job with it. Worth checking out :thumbsup

I was watching on Twitch, the full game, more or less.

Had many creepy moments, in that big castle of course.
But especially were the 2nd yellow Flask can be found, in that house, was super creepy as fuck and intense, even for the viewer.
That was very well done by the developers and super difficult to accomplish, I guess.

From my point of view I give it a 8 out of 10, I would give it 9 if the playtime would be longer.
10 hours are just too short imo.

I'm loving it so far ! The big tv, and the lights switched off.....this is why i still enjoy gaming. Even at 40 ! :pimp

Not sure why they changed it to first person the last 2 ver., there must be a reason, I didn't keep up. I played the new one for 5 min. almost got bored. Then got OWNED. It a epic first few minutes but not worth my time.

Best way is not to cheat by watching youtube..:2 cents: :thumbsup

I got a bit lost with RE7 in VR... too different and honestly too scary for my poor soul :).
But this RE8-Village seems exciting !!!
