I am really digging this series.
I really don't like most sci-fi and I hate science.
I base all my decisions off stern religious doctorine.

But I like this show.

One of those very few series that just keeps getting better. Season 6 in production now.

it's the best show on TV right now IMO. I mention it here on GFY often when people ask for show recommendations.

Most of the companion books are really interesting world building as well.

Thomas Jane, Wes Chatham, and Shohreh Aghdashloo all bring more to the characters than was even in the source material, though, in my opinion. Really excellent work.

I tried this show but I couldn't get past the first season.... I'll have to give it another try.

Even the Critical Drinker liked it. That guy hates everything

Love it. and has a lot of realism in it regarding space travel.

Un like star trek where they go from warp to instant stop, this actually talks about the need to slow down.

I made it through a few seasons but didn't care for the weaponized alien virus and vomit zombies, people going into crystal cocoons and metamorphosing. While the space travel was cool, I also thought the "Belter" colonies and OPA people with their weird language and accents felt cheap. I read the first few books and they were ok. Maybe it gets better.
