Is it at all possible to make money promoting OnlyFans Models? I thought I had seen something here a while ago but I cant find it.

Sure. But unless you catch that unicorn that hits the ground running and makes money from day 1, you will see that it takes a while for new or small models to make money there. By that time, the 12 months are up and you get ZERO income from them.

There are alternatives. At least we should try and stop supporting OF as affiliates after their ref scam.

I have a website dedicted to webcam models (French one) where I got thousand of cliks on the Onlyfans page, got 150 sign ups, one worked for 2 months and I earned 1 dollar to be exact.....The commission is 5% up to one year. Also did a Google ads campain which brought more than 5000 clicks, one signed up and earned zero on there. Super dispointing

I know NOTHING about the male side of the biz, hence my question. he already shoots a lot of clip content with me so pics and short clips for something like this would be easy for him (and for me, I'd prob do most of the filming for clips). can't take my eyes off him when he does dishes in his boxer-briefs so hardly a hardship :upsidedow

would appreciate any input from anyone with experience with the guy side. he's happy to sign up under a ref link if it's actually worth him doing. highly doubt with no social media presence/personal brand that this would be pay the rent money, but side income adds up over time, esp with his work ethic

Jesse Quinn I am on mobile so I can't quote your reply but in short the answer is a resounding yes. There are a number of active male performers who are quite successful doing fanclubs. It is not even necessary for him to play gay but that does hold a certain advantage over playing straight. Really depends on whether he wants to do this as a solo performer or not.

As long as he looks at this as a business and is willing to put in the neccessary effort there is no reason at all that he can not succeed even as you say that he is starting without any social media presence or existing brand. With the number of available social media sites these days building a brand is easy as long as he puts in the work. Some are easier to build followers on like sites like Reddit vs others but that should not be an issue.

Concerning which platform that is also dependent on which road he wants to take. No one can deny the shear weight of Only Fans so in my opinion that's a must. They currently have over 120 million subscribers. As far as I know the next in terms of subscribers is Just For Fans. I believe they just announced reaching 1 million subscribers. They do cater to different base of users though and are more accepting of niches compared to Only Fans. But there isn't a reason he can not diversify and be on multiple platforms. In fact I would insist, between fanclub sites, clip sites, viewshare sites, and so on, diversify his income stream and playing to the strengths on each platform just makes it that much more likely to succeed.

After 6 months he'll easily be paying the rent.

he's already killing it with cams and clips we make together but I do see how him not using the OF/JFF/ISM sites is leaving cash on the table. same goes for quite a few other peeps I know. these types of sites also seem perfect for those without powerful internet connections, laptops, etc. pretty much everyone has a phone

Anytime. Yeah definitely apply your expertise on the female side to this because they are very similar paths. Once he decides what brand he wants to develop and understands the psychology of his subscriber base he is targeting he should be golden.
