Mainstream marketing is amazing

Being sa I run YNOT Mail and also our CRM platform YNOT Market, I find mainstream marketing amazing. These mainstream companies do it right.

One company... I saw an ad on TV, vistied their website, and exactly half an hour after I visited their website they sent me an email - although I never gave them my email address.

Another company - a bike company - I visit their website often. Exactly half an hour after I visted their site they sent me an email asking "Did you see anything you like"?

Adult needs to do this.

fuzebox 06-14-2021 11:30 AM

https://getemails.com is one of the NoCRM providers that connects the browser pixel to your email address.

Would be cost prohibitive to do this with most adult products. I personally wouldn't send an unsolicitied adult email without the user opting in.

But you are right, the tools available to mainstream businesses are amazing :thumbsup

Mainstream does it all. I have one friend who works for a company that does this... They install software on your site and every time someone hits that site they can tell exactly who you are and.... provide the website with your email address.

Is it that? Or do more things end up in the spam box when it’s adult related. It’s even tough forwarding an email to oneself if it’s adult related

I presume you must have given your email address otherwise how the hell would they send you an email?

I use a Wordpress plugin called Tideo

I can track in real time users that visit my site. I can contact them while they are on my site. I can see which page they are currently viewing and ask questions regarding that.
They can ask a support question and I can answer in real time or, I can send an email later following up the support question from the chat box.

What I can't do is somehow send an email to some random without knowing that persons email first.

WiredGuy 06-14-2021 06:40 PM

Does this service give you their email address or do they email them on your behalf?

Send me their [Tideo] PM plz. I used to use a Shopify site-tracker plugin (Lucky Orange) but it was so damn buggy it was a waste.

I am guessing this https://www.tidio.com/ but it looks like it's moved on from just a wordpress plugin.

Sounds irritating to me. Just more spam.

:2 cents:

baddog 06-15-2021 10:02 AM

Double opt in isn't a requirement for adult spam any more?

We chatted about this a year ago, and you thought that was illegal, no? We already did this for adult - remember getadultemails.com?

Actually, the pricing for adult wasn't that bad. You could get down to the 8 cents/email range with volume buys.

But, agreed, it's spammy. "You enjoyed watching Kathi on cam - now sign up here to get a free 10 minutes with her...".

Diomed 06-15-2021 01:21 PM

Apparently im not understanding this correctly..

You're visiting a random website you never registered with or have any type of account with... and they are somehow sifting out and spamming your email address? The email address you never gave them...?

They share data with a large network of sites that do have access to your email address. Using their javascript pixel they can identify you easily via cookie, no different than using facebook/google pixels to track sales.

From getemails.com

"How Does GetEmails Work?

Anonymous Website Visitor Identification

You put our pixel on your website, and we match anonymous digital identifiers to rich customer profiles.

Our DeliveryID™️ Email Graph has over 250 million US individuals and gets 100 million updates daily. Its linked-and-current database includes hashed emails, MAIDs, emails, names, and postal addresses, all of which we can tie to your CRM or CDP’s 1st party cookie, or attach to a session ID.

We can typically match over 70% of your US traffic to at least one addressable identifier."

Adult needs to do this.

This has been going on for quite some time in mainstream and I've seen it used in adult with great success. You just have to be very creative in your approach. I'm surprised that your job is email marketing and you're just now learning this.

The link to the plugin is https://en-gb.wordpress.org/plugins/tidio-live-chat/

it's a free plugin which can be upgraded in multiple ways depending on what you want.

It works in multiple ways.

1. You can access it through your wp-admin panel
2. You can download a desktop app for Windows
3. You can use a mobile app for Android and IOS

Thanks, what is interesting is that this is not listed on the US wordpress.org/plugins. I wonder why, do devs have the option for their market?

How about an email subscribe widget.

Surfer fills in their email address, presses send. Ping.

They've now sent an email to an inbox that can reply back with an autoresponder, and is captured for later.

Shareware code that does this?

I was trying to figure out why someone that runs an adult email program thinks that this is cool when he should know the rules.
