Best registrars to buy AI and IO TLDs?

Aff links ok.

I have been buying through NameCheap but they require 2 years minimum to start.

Please give some advice on this. Thank you.

In terms of price, Porkbun is about the cheapest for both. They also require two years minimum for .AI (but not .IO) so it's probably the decision of the .AI registry, not Namecheap.

Thanks for that info. You must be right about the 2 years. Have you purchased any domains via Porkbun?

Yeah, I'm not much of a fan of their "ooooh weeee aww shucks wuv u" schtick but they're a good professional registrar behind all that.

These two sites are good for price comparisons, and special offers/promos:

Thank you for the replies, ZTT. The promo sites are very helpful.
Still thinking about Porkbun as well. :thumbsup

Thanks for posting that. Its good to see after a couple of weeks no one is trashing them and only positive comments so far. Will give them a try.

AI and IO Tld's

You guys seem pretty smart and I think you might know this but Go Daddy offers these domains for one year terms.

I tend to avoid GD due to negative experiences in the past. The last thing I want for them to have is access to a credit card.

Thanks for letting me know that about the 1 year timeframe.
