Anyone else seeing big SERP changes this week?

For me it's like Google has gone back 10 years. My quality sites have been demoted, yet I'm seeing several crap sites that I forgot I even still had online showing up in my Google traffic stats.

Google has only been talking about rolling out this update for the past couple of months.

Didn't you get the memo?

It happens at every update, then levels out ... or so it seems on mine

Nope, been a bit lazy with checking my search engine news feed lately.

This will be the first time in at least 5 years that a Google algorithm update has negatively affected me.

I see that it's actually supposed to be an anti-spam update, and yet my quality sites have lost places, several of my abandoned sites are showing up and getting hits now, and the rival sites that regularly e-mail asking for a paid link (which is supposed to be against Google's rules) are showing up above me.

Hopefully like the poster above says, it will settle down in a few days. Sales have been very poor as well, even with the loss of traffic. I guess few people are buying porn right now and rather enjoying lockdown free summer.

This. Traffic and sales are down around 15-20% since last week of June. It's a true "summer slowdown".

I mentioned on this board last summer, when online sales (both adult and mainstream) were through the roof that when things get back to "normal" (whatever that is) we will see a major drop in traffic and sales. Mostly for the reasons you said but also because the Government-issued stimulas checks have run out.

Add inflation, a still uncertain future for most workers (will they return to their offices? Work from home forever?) and most school systems still trying to work out what's required for the Fall and you get a clusterfuck of reasons to NOT sit in front of a screen yanking it all day. LOL

My network stats are down 30% but I am pretty sure it wil settle down in a few days. Let's hope.

The Google monster can be evil. Check out Google Page Speed Insights and see where your site stacks up comparatively to your competition. I see you own a large site network with bulky images, you may want to consider changing that up to be HTML5 with quick responsive mobile loads
