What do you think about this business plan, acception only crypto but explaining on your website how to buy crypto and pay with crypto.

Crypto = Hiding money to gov taxes.....

djroof 07-23-2021 09:18 AM

The point is not to buy something now with crypto. The huge goal is to make that crypto after, USD or EUR. For these high role-playing exchanges... now they "hit" Binance one of the biggest and best crypto exchanges.

For now, u can accept cryptos and make them real money. If governments can close some crypto exchanges, then many will have a serious problems...

fuzebox 07-23-2021 09:22 AM

Oh wow so interesting, maybe Pornhub should try accepting Mastercard instead?

CaptainHowdy 07-23-2021 10:00 AM

Oh, well . . .

baodb 07-23-2021 10:09 AM

Amazing move, they got lemons shoved up their ass and made the most of it. This is gonna be a great experiment to see for all of us if crypto is viable and if you can convert normal users to adopt and pay with crypto given sufficient handholding.

el_mago 07-23-2021 10:35 AM

Their sales will drop ~90% but it will be great to further push crypto adoption for the future

blackmonsters 07-23-2021 11:04 AM

Crypto wouldn't be worth a shit if everybody had them.

Exactly how I feel about $100 bills. Why bother collecting them?

Yo mamma!

"Unfortunately we are unable to accept credit cards at this moment"

They're working on it?

I hope they continue to accept only crypto.

Adult payment processors take very high cut like 10-14% for ages. They're sleeping on people hard work.

COPY CAT ASSHOLE (Yo mamma!)

New Flash : Crypto is not money which is backed by government reserves.
Crypto is a collector's item that's only backed by speculation.

Everybody doesn't have a $100 bill either :

New rules are tough to enforce, so MC won't have them.

Agreed.

Imagine if they move to crypto-only & succeed. That would mean companies are not held at the balls by the forever changing/deteriorating merchant and billing rules. In the long term that'd be hugely profitable for them. Cutting out 3rd party (possibly) & not having to chase around merchant accounts/billing providers.

What is your point? First bitcoin is allegedly a worthless collectors item because it is not backed by the almighty government(s) and now it's unsuitable for criminals which does in no way impact the topic of legal porn sold for legal crypto?

Who said it was worthless? You did, not me.

Collector items can be worth millions easily.

Money in the U.S. bank is protected by the FDIC.
If the bank goes belly up, the FDIC pays me my money.
But your Bitcoin is not insured if/when your exchange goes down.

If the porn had been 100% legal without a doubt; then we wouldn't be having this conversation.

That promise is good only to a certain extend and lets say it that way, if they need to cash in on that promise the extend is very quickly overextended. Fiat has no value because of the gov backing it, it has value because we trust in what the government is backing. If we/humans at large enough scale don't do that anymore (which may happen faster than you think), well then its worth nothing.

Money is a medium of exchange, anyone is free to assign anything as a medium of exchange as long as he finds another person who is willing to accept such medium. Now if you find someone who is willing to trust in bitcoin for its limited supply, robust technology or god knows whatever reason then its as good as finding someone who trusts in fiat because they believe senile government officials telling them to "trust"

It’s a felony to not list crypto sales on your tax return.

Do you trust money from governments that are poor and don't have gold, silver or oil reserves?

I got some "old pesos" if you want them.

We are playing with words here.

You don't trust broke governments that don't have reserves.

You didn't rush out to buy up Zimbabwean dollars when they were cheap did you?

I do not inherently trust the US government, which has a track record of mismanagement and consistently abusing the USD and its global standing, more than I trust the technology and parties involved in the bitcoin ecosystem.

I'm sure it's "here to stay"; but not sure if forever.

How long before computers are so fast the crypto keys can be "hacked" forged or "broken" by thieves or adversaries?

Maybe never, maybe soon.

Not sure it will be traded much among the lower income earners who account for a lot of sales.

It’s backed by. Jeez, I’d sound like joe biden if I tried to explain it. It’s backed by nothing. Zilch. Dog face pony soliders.

ruff 07-23-2021 07:53 PM

All of you worried about how fiat is backed up or what creates value in crypto argues the same bullshit in every thread like this. If you can't get with the program, why don't you try trading a chicken for a Big Mac meal, take a bushel of peanuts down to the package store and trade it for a 6-pack, or walk your cow to the drugstore for your next prescription. What the fuck do you think this shit is in the first place? You got a hundred dollar bill in your pocket? The government knows about it, or will know about it and will get it if they want it and you got nothing to say about it. Crypto scares the government to death because they can't control it and they never will.

Nowadays, realtime bank transfers are standard payment methods in the G20 countries.
There's no need to use third party billing systems as long as you're working
with an adult-friendly bank.

Greetings Beaver
