The thing is I guarantee if you smoked any of it you would have giggle waffle and munchie fits for the next 2 hours and not sit there stoned drooling with your mouth open comatosed only to declare an hour later.. that was good shit.

For recreational use, if pot with 5% THC is not getting you stoned enough.. you don't need a stronger pot you need a break from smoking any at all. Current top strains are nudging 30%.

I know about of THC % in the current generations (White Widow, T-34 etc). I just said that those from 70's look like a shit.

P.S. They don't affect me. The only thing I want is to eat.

I haven't smoked in years, but I hear most of the stuff you get today is just insane.

I'm from the east coast and a 80's baby so this is basically what we had as premium up until like 2001. We had a few more Jamaican strains like lambs bread and chocolate and such. But it was all like this, though closer to 2001 the buds were a lot more condensed in those same strains.

It did me justice. Had me high as shit for years. I enjoyed every bit of it. Nowadays it would be like smoking CBD flower or Delta-8 for me. Nothing.

A lot of those strains/landraces are still around, just ultra evolved. Columbian Gold is decent these days.

For years and years it was just "weed". Good weed or bad weed. Basically either green, chocolate (dark brown stuff) or hydro (when you could find it).

Nowadays? Holy shit it's like a smorgasbord! I ordered six different strains last night from a dispensary that delivers. Amazing how they all look and hit now!

I kinda miss those old days tho. Less confusing, just "got some weed?" LOL

Mine is all super green now and soft dense nugs that smell like a candy store. I do not miss the old days of having to pick out seeds for an hour and it tasting worse than cigarettes. Especially a bag full of those tiny white seeds lol. :upsidedow

45 years later and any idiot can now legally grow 1oz buds with 25% THC in his basement, in less than 75 days using LED lights that cost almost nothing to power.

People are paying $15 a gram for good cannabis. Mine costs me about $.25 a gram when all is said and done.

I started growing about 25 years ago already with professional lights and systems. Back in the cowboy days. I must say that the quality was almost the same as now. Cause i learnt fro the best back than. Haven't grown for more than a decade now.

How are the led lights doing compared to a 400 watt bulb?

I used 400w sodium halide (or sodium something, can't remember..) bulbs a long time ago, they worked pretty well.

Some people are pushing 2g per watt with higher end LEDs. Which are generally Samsung's top quality runs.

Cost savings is HUGE in comparison. I can't tell you the last time I saw someone post photos or talk about their grow and NOT being using LEDs.

In Holland i see always the 400 Watts used when the police finds a plantation. Only recently saw some pictures with Led lights. Curious if Led works well. What is see, it can work :)

Right. The increase in quality in the past few years isn't because of new lights or anything like that, it's because the bigger commercial operations where you used to get brick weed or mids, they are all switching to making extracts/oils/etc. so there's less of the low end going around.

Ah ok, we didn't have that problem that there was a real shortage of good weed in the Netherlands. Never had bricks or other shit you still see in Asia and also in Latin America.
