My reasoning is that I want to allow the spread of my hosted videos as much as possible while my website is still a baby, then restrict it to only logged in users in the future.

you need to re-evaluate your site. Some links not working and when you click to view a vid, you need to go back to the first page, under the vid playing, you need a selection of films similar, so your surfer continues the journey. Also under every vid, a banner or text link to either sites similar or the site the vid was given from...

Which links in particular? There is a related videos section, but the algorithm works best with thousands of videos being hosted on my website. Currently, I only have around 300 which is why sometimes none show. Under a video is a user icon that when clicked, can either redirect to the user's page who uploaded it or the original website it was uploaded to if need be.

ok, "links" link, bigass, freecams, all dont work, also, the side bar button, i expected it to come from the right and instead pulls from the left...

a personal choice, but recommending as would just go over the side bar with adverts not the actual site...

the vids still seem to go no where after watching one...

Of course, but the share functionality is really only intended for mobile users anyway. In time browsers will naturally modernize and I will improve on this.

anything mobile can do, a desktop browser can do (better). i share on desktop all the time.

desktop is not going away. the marketshare went up during the shutdowns.

What I meant was I really only had mobile users in mind when I implemented the share functionality. There is no denying it does have better support for mobile, though.
