Anyone have any vintage playboys they wanna get rid of?

I started a small collection. So thought I would ask here if anyone has any vintage Playboy magazines they wanna get rid of and give away.

You mean you had A copy of every issue? Hard to make money if you were the only one that had any copies.

I was working in a paper factory in summer holiday where they collect old newspapers, magazines,.. One day someone dropped his whole playboy magazine collection as "old paper". I must have seen every porn collection coming by of all Dutch pornmagazines. There was always something to read during lunchbreak. Should have collected them, but was only 14.

Most of the ones I have left are sorta special ones. Dorothy Stratten, Trump issue, Cindy Crawford, etc..

I find it interesting to look at the full page ads from the vintage ones from the 60s and 70s.

Cindy Crawford? LOL.

To make a long story short.... Cindy Crawford opened up a 24 Hour Fitness by me years ago and I went and had her Playboy cover signed. I still have it in my home office to this very day.

I thought you were here in the States. One 'book box' weighs about 50lbs and I have 4 of them.
Here is something else that concerns me because I know Canada is F'd up when it comes to a lot of things.
(I know, my first wife is from Toronto)

Are the Canadian porn laws -

Quote:

Is watching porn illegal in Canada?

While it is not necessarily illegal to watch porn per se, there are a few laws in Ontario, Canada that place restrictions on the fabrication and distribution of pornographic content. In Canadian law, pornography is typically referred to as “obscene” content. In Section 163 of the Criminal Code, a publication with undue exploitation of sex is deemed “obscene.”

Canadian law considers it an offence to mail obscene publications or to publicly give an obscene theatrical performance. Canadian courts may charge the offender up to two years of imprisonment for these offences. The standard for obscenity is flexible and is based on the acceptance of the public of the explicit material.
Kind of a serious price to pay just for a few Playboys ...
I just Googled it.. there are a bunch of full sets on Ebay for like $25.00

Your 'old playboy' inquiry drew my interest making me think where the heck are mine ?
My ole lady has a nasty habit of throwing shit out that doesn't belong to her.

I found these last night if you or anyone else is interested.
They're dated 1972 - 1974 and in great condition too.
I'm shocked these didn't find their way in to the recycle bucket.

After you learn of the Canadian import rules for pornographic materials, check with the USPS and inquire about their media rate.

I think it's half the price of normal first class, and comes with tracking. It's meant for shipping books, magazines, etc.

Thats exactly what happened to mine. Starting over again is getting sadly expensive. Seeing as a lot of people on here are in porn thought I’d at least try. Now im single so this wont happen twice lol

Media mail does not cover publications that contain advertisements.

Anyone looking for an unusual Playboy collectible should track down a Sears catalog with a Karen Witter (Miss March 1982) centerfold. Both Sears and Playboy were headquartered out of Chicago and their printer goofed (or someone thought it would be a funny prank).

Did Model Railroader ever do an issue on the Western Pacific's Third Subdivision?. Or, was it Railroad&Railfan?. I am in search of that issue.

I do not have issues of Model Railroader that new. My issues range from 1972 - 1974.

Have the whole set up to about 2010. PDFs on a HD, in a faraday cage, in the bunker.
