What will you do as Network??
You're paying your affiliate of 5 years, consistent mid $x,xxx weekly, wire you sent for his payout this week had an error so it was refunded back to you as sender.
What will you do as owner or network? a. wait 7 business days for the wire to return to company's account then resend it. b. send half while waiting for the refunded wire. c. send his entire $x,xxx payout while waiting for the wire to get refunded. d. ignore the fuck out of him |
wait until the wire is returned which won't take long (like 2 biz days tops? I've been on both ends of that scenario in the past, never did it take 7 days)
use the time to correct the bank details/issue that caused the bounceback. stay in contact with the payee so they know you're on top of it option D is a good way to fuck yourself out of business |
I do think considering the 5 year relationship it would be courteous to immediately send the whole payout while waiting for refund...surely they can cashflow that for a week and it's not like there's suddenly an issue with quality or something else. Simply an error in the payout process. Waiting for the wire to return before re-sending isn't the end of the world either, and would be reasonable for the network to do.
I would personally re-send immediately, because affiliates who push that level of volume for years on end isn't exactly something any network should take for granted, and 5 years in this space = a relationship of sorts. I'm guessing you are dealing with this scenario right now? |
They are super helpful and they did letter B.
I am happy with that at least :) |
Probably run with a Karen theme.
