Attention: All Paxum Personal Account-Holders

We have important news to share with you about an upcoming change planned for your Paxum account.

Effective October 1st 2021, Paxum Personal account-holders will only be allowed to use one email address per account. This means that after October 1st 2021 every additional email address that is currently verified to your Paxum account will be removed, and your log-in username will be the only valid payment email address for your personal Paxum account.

In the next few weeks leading up to the October 1st 2021 deadline it is crucial that you make sure your payment partners have the correct email address for your Paxum payments. We recommend you contact your payment partners as soon as possible to avoid any payment disruption.

After October 1st 2021 your Username (the email you use to login to your account) will be your only valid Paxum payment email.

We’ve put together some helpful information below, in anticipation of your questions:

Frequently Asked Questions

Question 1: I don’t remember which additional email addresses I have confirmed to my Paxum account. Where can I find that information?
Answer: You can review all your confirmed payment emails inside your account interface in the section PROFILE >> Account Emails.

Question 2: I set up additional email addresses so that I could keep my log-in email private and protect my account from hackers. What protection will I have after this change?
Answer: If you haven’t already activated Two Factor Authentication for your account, now would be an excellent time to do so! Also, if you have a STATIC IP then you can restrict access to your account to a specified IP address using the Access by IP option. You can find these options and others, in the SECURITY SETTINGS section of your Paxum account interface.

Question 3: What happens if I don’t notify my payment partners in time? Will I still get my payments?
Answer: If you don’t update your payment partners by October 1st 2021 and they try to send payment to a defunct payment email address, then that payment will NOT reach its destination. After October 1st 2021 you will ONLY be able to receive payments to the Username (login email) of your account.

Question 4: Can I change my Username if I need/want to in the future?
Answer: Yes, you will still have this option and you can arrange this through our customer support team.

If you have any questions or concerns, our friendly customer support staff is always available to answer you via support ticket, live online chat (directly on the website), or through our toll free phone line.

Paxum is constantly reviewing its policies and features so that we can provide our customers with the most versatile, compliant, user-friendly and secure global payment platform. We know you have options for your payments, and that’s why it means so much to us that you continue to choose Paxum.

We remain at your service.

Kind regards,
Why, why, why?!

I didnt even knew that you can have more than one :)

I have 3 emails attached to my account because Paxum's EFT payment processor refused to accept the (NOT adult!) domain I was using. Paxum kept changing processors, and therefore, the rules.

The program who currently sends me funds through Paxum has a broken payment page, and Paxum's transaction list is blank, so I have NO idea which of the 3 emails I'm getting funds sent to... I really hope it's my primary... (edit: looks like my login email address is not the same thing as my primary email address, which is going to be fun. How did that happen?)

If you're having any issues please open a support ticket and one of our customer support representatives can help you find the information you need. :thumbsup

This change goes into effect October 1st, 2021. You should still have time to get things updated with your payment partners, or even to change your Paxum username if that works out easier for your specific situation.

I first contacted the program about their broken payment config page nearly two weeks ago, so I'm not hopeful of this being resolved by next month. I really hope I don't end up in a situation where I'm having to chase up a payment that fails because it was sent to the "wrong" address, one which has worked for years. Why was there so little notice given by Paxum?

I have multiple paypal accounts, with multiple email accounts attached to each paypal account. Never a problem.

Paxum sucks. Avoid it.

:upsidedow Don't blame paxum because of your choice to live in a SHIT HOLE country :1orglaugh .

"Aruba is an island country in the mid-south of the Caribbean Sea, about 29 kilometres north of the Venezuelan peninsula of Paraguaná and 80 kilometres northwest of Curaçao. It measures 32 kilometres long from its northwestern to its southeastern end and 10 kilometres across at its widest point.'
