Is it still possible to redirect visitors from one YouTube channel to another?
simple explanation: You have a YouTube video where you put up videos relating to cars, and another channel where you put up videos about boats. each has its own different gmail account associated with it.
The car video one has never really taken off, but the boat video one is going great. So you want anyone that goes to your old car channel to be automatically taken to your boat channel instead. You used to be able to set a redirect, right in the channel control panel. But that was ages ago, and the option is no longer there. Aside from putting a video on the car channel that says: "No more car videos guys, but check out my boat channel instead..." is there another way? I dont think doing the video method is very elegant. But I cant find the option that used to be there? Any ideas? For reference, the 'cars' and 'boats' are just examples. Its not two totally different channels. I just want people who go to the first channel, to get taken automatically to the other channel instead. T.I.A. x PS This is how you USED to be able to do it, in 2014 - But that option is no longer there... :( |
I can't afford to redirect.
