I totally disagree that London should be at number 1 - Perhaps 20 or so years ago... Then maybe... but not these days. Its changed beyond all recognition, and NOT for the best.

That are the tourist trap cities with Latte macchiato coffee bars. So is Groningen or even Maastricht much nicer than Amsterdam, where they hate tourist.

San Francisco is in the top twenty. I love San Francisco.

All large cities are tourist traps. San Francisco is the same. We had a friend come into town for the week and he wanted to do all of the same bullshit... We went to Alcatraz Island for the 7th time. It gets old.

Why the London and Paris are listing top? I really like New York and Los Angeles.

Tim Hortons across Metro Papineau is a nightlife highlight because of all the homeless

Bars on Saint Laurent and Saint Dennis must be engaged in price fixing on alcohol & music

Blink twice and you've walked the entirety of Saint Laurent.. Twice more is Saint Dennis

Business is also hell because of government bureaucracy and Canadians don't have money.

Also never go to the hospital unless sitting in E.R is your idea of a great weekend

Police up your ass everywhere unless you're driving a new Jaguar, Mercedes, etc.

However, Montreal is a great place for anyone that's into mediocre art, cheap
(and mostly useless) post secondary education, subsidized daycare, free abortions,
pink balls and far too much socialism.

I filmed more Arab and French (from France) women in Montreal than I did Montrealaise.
The Montrealaise tended to show up with an extra 50lbs on their ass that they forgot

They are clearly using a hyphen instead of a space to format the list. No idea why, but obviously the creator of the list is not suggesting it is spelled New-York or Los-Angeles.

NYC has been cleaned up. I remember a time when it was scary to go into the city. I grew up in NJ, and we made trips to NYC all the time. It's much nicer now.

My city is the best, but any time anyone mentions that it's a great place to live, we get huge waves of fucking hipsters that destroy certain parts of town. So we try to keep that quiet..
