Can you perform any magic tricks?
 

I kinda do a bit of 'grampa magic' - Mostly close up stuff that pretty much works itself. It certainly impresses the kiddies :)

Aside from the 'magical appearing turd in my pants' trick, that's kinda my signature move, I have recently been performing 'Gozinta'



Its mad crazy how it even fools adults, cause they can be right up close and examine everything the moment you have done it...

Can YOU tell how its done, just from the video? It looks EXACTLY like that when you do it in real life...
its a real glass, real coins, a real sheet of unbroken rubber with no holes or slits in it. It really happens just like you saw him do it...

Any tricks like this that you know and recommend?

Not me but my buddy.

He takes about 3" of string, rolls it into a ball, puts it in his mouth, chews it about and swallows it.

2 days later he goes the toilet and poops it out and it is in a perfect bow.

My son is pretty good at magic with cards. He got out of it when he went into the Air Force but he was pretty good at illusions and sleight of hand

You can see the tiny slit in the rubber after he pushes the coin through.

I always find it takes me a while, but after a little while, that shit gets flushed :thumbsup

No. I promise you, there is NO slit or hole in the rubber. The rubber (and everything else) can be examined immediately after the coin goes through, with no further interaction from the 'magician'

Nope, sorry - still not it... there is only ONE coin - Aside from the copper coin that gets removed (and is a red herring)

I mean, there is only one coin.

Its just on the underside of the rubber, which is stretched so much you can see it - the coin - through the rubber.

No matter which coin they pick at the beginning, the silver coin remains.

Pick the bronze coin, that gets taken away.
Pick the silver coin, that stays.

The rubber is actually a dental dam - Extremely stretchy. The fact that its 'gun metal' colour means its absolutely invisible over the silver coin. (Unlike the demo above with the green) The purpose of the second coin is to just sit under the edge of the silver coin, to 'sell' the fact that its 'on top' - But its not :)

Simple to do and easy to try yourself at home :)

My ex-wife does the opposite.

Heh... now if I ever see someone trying to do this trick (or any like it) and I'm told to pick a coin... if they hand me the coin I picked I'll be like "no, that's the one I want YOU to keep."

I used to know that card trick where you take 16 cards and put 4 rows of 4 cards face up on a table, ask the person to choose a card and tell you what row it's in. Then you put them face up again but in opposite rows. By then you know their card and you're counting in your head.

Next you make 4 stacks of 4 cards (face down) and ask the person to "choose" 2 stacks. BUT you never tell them if they're choosing to remove the cards or keep them on the table. Regardless, you keep their card on the table. With 2 stacks left, tell them them to choose one.

Finally, with 1 one stack left, tell them to choose 2 cards... then 1. Flip over their card and stun the room.

Pretty neat trick if you can pull it off. Nobody ever notices what's happening.

Well, I've been working on the 'trick' in order to personalize it... You know... Make it 'My Own'...

Problem is though, as much as I am enjoying smearing it all over the rubber, the glass, myself, (and the spectators) and there's certainly a powerfully magical, & heavenly aroma...

I just cant seem to tie the 'magic' part into it :(

Kid I work with is big into magic. He goes all over to Magic "cons" and has always go some new trick to share with us. He's pretty good actually for someone who just does it for shits and giggles.
