I'd have to see the target to have an opinion.

Where's all the talk about a "thug culture" and irresponsible parents?

The only thing irresponsible that the parents did is that they taught her to shoot 2 guns
at the same time and to throw a gun on the ground.

Safely firing a gun requires a certain posture and that the hand that you're NOT using be
secured. Also, you never throw a gun on the ground because you don't actually know
if it's empty or just jammed and it can also break the gun causing it to be unsafe in the
future.

Hmm we don't have all these guns here in Europe and life's good without them.

So for the Charlie Hebdo assault and the Bataclan terror attack they used foul language?

Putain de merde !!!

Makes sense, Europe is such a peaceful place without a history of war and genocide.

I am fifty-three years old and not once have I needed to defend myself with a firearm.

We have a dog and our twenty-one year old kid lives with us (away at college technically), and... if I armed myself every time something went bump in the night I would have shot someone by now if only by accident.

I sail and I've had to display my gun twice when I was near Cuba. It's amazing how fast
people decide to be nice and polite when they see you holding a gun.

I sincerely hope that no one ever finds themself in a situation where they need a gun but
if they do then I hope they have one.

All I'm saying is that life's good here without all the guns. I'd rather see them being equipped by Police exclusively than a guy on the street

I bet its not right. Gr8 skills but she's too young to know what she's doing.

J. Falcon 10-08-2021 04:36 AM

I doubt most people, especially a little kid, will be accurate while shooting 2 handguns at the same time. Is that even taught? If you can't look down the barrel, your accuracy suffers. So what is the point other than looking cool for Twitter?

I'm 38 and have never been in a situation where a seatbelt would have saved my life, yet I still wear it.

That being said, if you were to shoot someone by accident, it means you broke all 4 primary rules of firearm safety.

Guns don't kill people. Stupid and/or evil people with guns kill people. You're the former.

I agree in principle but we don't live in a perfect world. There are only 2 problems that
make private gun ownership necessary.

1. Criminals are criminals and they can ALWAYS get guns illegally.
2. The police are almost never there before a crime is committed.

NO IT'S NOT!!

In fact, any shooting range that I've been at the RSO would immediately put a stop to
what the child in the video was doing.

The video looks cool and I support private gun ownership. However, anyone that's taken
the training courses is cringing at what the kid does in the video.
(Throwing a gun on the ground?!?! YIKES!!! That's dangerous)

Needless to say that I suspect that the video is fake.

The same Europe that banned kitchen knives (or tried to)?

JesseQuinn 10-08-2021 07:11 AM

seeing a child with loaded guns in their hands gives me chills. to me that video was awful, I hope it was fake. have a different way of looking at things I guess but possession of a lethal weapon is not exactly 'empowerment' as I understand the concept. quite the opposite

just tired of people dying from the air pollution of flying bullets I guess
