Anyone Tried Win11 yet?..

I normally can't resist a new version of anything, but have resisted so far - Anyone tried it yet - Impressions?..

CaptainHowdy 10-17-2021 01:48 PM

No, but I have the feeling that Microsoft will find a way to force me to install it.

CurrentlySober 10-17-2021 02:14 PM

Nope. After all, I dont really use 'windows' - I use the programs I have installed on windows.

My only 'windows' usage is in manipulating and finding files, to open with 3rd party installed programs...

Why change anything that could slow me down? It certainly wont speed me up... :2 cents:

Side Note: Eddy, have you watched 'It's A Sin' made by Channel 4 yet? If so what did you make of it?

I will wait another 3-6 months till they iron out the bugs.

I forgot you an Apple FanBoi:winkwink:...

Side Note: I saw the first episode and decided not to watch anymore - The TIME and PLACE is so incredibly close to home - If you are interested you know how to contact me - No problem at all!....

Likely, only if it sucks.

BaldBastard 10-17-2021 09:50 PM

I've been on the beta so using it a couple of years, its fucking great, dunno if I would buy it over win10 but certainly next time you upgrade your computer go with win 11.

Rochard will come in with raving reviews. He did that for win 10

Yeah, but I also use windows :) I wouldn't upgrade mac OS if it were to be a radical change.

RE 'IAS' no worries. Thought it might be, hence why I asked x

williamsevenup 10-18-2021 08:42 AM

Klen 10-18-2021 01:51 PM

CurrentlySober 10-18-2021 03:04 PM

Just build one of THESE...

Its a single computer running windows, mac os and Linux at the same time on 3 monitors with complete integration between each system. Best of all 3 systems, all in one...

I've timestamped the link, so you get straight to the demo... Pretty cool :upsidedow

I am using it, I had to upgrade my system to be able to run it since it was 7 yrs old, but it needed it any ways, changed out the processor, mainboard and ram, its alot faster, I like it.

I would but my fairly new (3 years) PC mainboard does not seem to support TPM2.0. Or I need to activate it in the BIOS, haven't looked there yet.

geirlur 10-19-2021 04:18 AM

I like it better than win 10 :)

The performance has to be terrible. I mean, they had to timelapse the boot cycle, lol.
