Help - A Page I am ranking at Number 1-2 for 15 keywords disappeared from 120 countries

I managed to narrow down the problem and found out the following

From USA and Canada, I am getting pretty much the same amount of hits a day. ( there is still a drop even though Search Console shows I am at my best ranking position even 1.7)

Before I was getting clicks from around 130 countries and now I am getting hits from 15... I am not shown in the results at all....

I don't have any penalty, DMCA or whatever...

I don't get it

Check how many page are indexed on google by site:domain.com
Also, check does your domain is ranking by searching its brand (without .com).

All pages are indexed by google.

When it comes to the brand... it`s weird again in some countries I`ll be on the first place for the brand-name and I won't appear on other place countries at all.

If I write it like XX XXXX XXXX (which is the brand name with spaces as it contains 3 words) I am on first place everywhere

It seems OK.

Maybe you made some backlinks recently?
After new backlinks there can be some kind of "dance" in search.

I did get a lot of new backlinks but how comes it is OK in the USA and Canada but on 115 countries I am committed from the search.

Also it`s been like that for 16 days do you think it can still be "dancing"

i find the search algos in non english language geos to be running on a different update schedule -

the point about backlinks is very possible - depends what and how much, but if it was agressive then that could certainly do something accross lots of different geos -

there have also been several major updates rolling out around meta titles - have seen this impact a shitton of queries with google basically ignoring the meta title and slipping in the h1 from the page which while being optimized for a keyword is not usually optimized for the SERPs as good as it could be -

lots of changes rolling out right now it seems - so first advice dont panick and try change too many things you gotta have some patience to see how it plays out

It is a website I don't care that much about so I am not panicking I actually added some helpful content that won't make me money but it will certainly help the users.

Being "indexed" by google does not mean being shown, or shown with same prominence across all countries.

The flags and algos that google uses are complex, and we are rarely privy to all the goings on.

Registering your domain property with Search Console and keep up the related YouTube channel may help explain some sudden changes.

Since spring, there have been major "cleanups" and like seismic events, when they will happen next and what will be affected is a bit of a mystery.

Either way, "white hat" is the only way to go in this realm, and time.

Still the website improving but the top page bringing 60% of the traffic is going down the drain everywhere besides USA and Canada seems strange

Google is using their "Page Experience" flag now, and how your other demographics may differ (language , etc), can contribute to a non-uniform traffic distribution.

Nothing is strange to Google - only to us. :)

Anything specific you can say about that "Page Experience"
