Anyone care to explain?
 

Honest Question: Can someone explain to me how these WordPress tube scripts work? Not so much in regard to the coding aspect, but rather in how they manage to amass millions of videos on their website in a matter of months. Obviously, real users are not uploading, so where the fuck do these videos come from? For a lot of these sites, their videos are not being embedded (aka the videos are chilling on another website's database and being drawn onto the tube site), but are actually being hosted directly on their site.

I may need to use one of these scripts (was looking at wp-script.com earlier) and wanted to get a better explanation on how these sites function from people who have successfully used them.

My skills in Python are far from intermediate. Are there any good tutorials online? Maybe someone could provide a link or two? I know for a fact a lot of these clone sites are not operated by people with great knowledge of programming, so there must be a simple walkthrough out there somewhere.

I will look into "scraping" more and how these plugins utilize it.

Many of those scripts come with build in scapers.

Yep, most of these scripts have importers, among them Buran (Buran CMS - Adult Tube CMS), TubeAce (https://tubeace.com/), Izix (https://izix.site/), not to mention the more reputable Mechbunny (https://www.mechbunny.com/) and KVS (https://www.kernel-video-sharing.com/), which aren't WP-based.

Definitely going to take a look at these. Appreciate it.

Mechbunny and KVS are top if you want to build a real tube site. You can not go wrong with them.
