Are you noticing different credit card security this holiday sale season?
 

So, is anyone else noticing insanely over-the-top annoying security on online credit card purchases this sale season?

I'm see an uptick in declines for people purchasing from me.

Even more death by a thousand paper cuts, I'm working on a custom computer build and it seems like there is some insane additional security rigmarole I have to go through for every freaking piece. I purchased parts for a really similar build in September of this year with no issues.

I feel like there is some security headache with almost every purchase that isn't Amazon, but I don't actually want to tithe to Jeff Bezos.
