I'm looking for a new hosting company that has the balls,
to host some EU user generated adult content and who don't piss
their pants straight away, when an official EU request comes in.

Compatibility with US law is not a problem for us!


I am looking for something like that:

Content transfer and imigration should be include!

But it is better to contact them about your content before ordering.
They allows adult - at least on Germany servers.

Why it is unacceptable?
For me it is very acceptable.
Using them for 2+ years without single issue.

As far as I know, Germany has one of the strictest laws in the EU against pornography.

Are you sure that your hosting company won't get cold feet
when the first lawyer knocks on their door with a court order
and demands your data?

Apart from that, I'm a Jew, but please don't take it personally.

Except you are totally stupid...!

The same counts for domain registrars from DE. Stay away!

Give Hostiserver.com a try, they offer very cheap RAM upgrades and top-notch support...

Of course you will get problems if you host illegal or pirated content.
Contabo is fine for hosting of content which is legal in Germany.

For shady things you will need some offshore hosting.

Do you have an example of what kind of 18+ adult content or websites
are legal in Germany, without a closed AV system?

You mean not banned websites in Germany?
The list will be too long.
You can do google searches on any adult keyword on DE IP.

Even the biggest porn sites are banned in German google, as they do not implemented AV system - it is still accessible by type-in.

If your sites are optimized for German audience - it does not matters which hosting provider you choose - the key is AV system.

I chose that hosting after reading many forums and getting clear that they allows adult.
Also, contacted support about that.

It is only my opinion and my suggestion on topic.

You can choose any hosting provider you like and need.

Stay away from any German hosting companies, there´s nothing to be proud of hosting with any of them!

MojoHost and Vacares both great.

That is my opinion too!
It's just a shame that these DE doctrines can now be found all over Europe!
If you look through the "Compliance with Law" rules of most European hosts these days,
you might throw up.
