Just curious why someone would pick HD video if 4K is an option? Do people still do that?

Space and/or bandwidth limitations, or the editing company that they use can't work with 4K footage. Otherwise, there is no reason why you wouldn't go for 4K (or higher) for masters.

I say a fair offer would still be slightly less than the offer for 4K though, as not everyone can screen or watch 8K just yet, and by the time 8K is standard it may well be a common act in most porn films (Like Reverse Cowgirl is these days) so if the 4K price is 4 X the HD price, Id offer you the '3K' (resolution) price, as you have to take in the extra work required to downsize the vid to HD. Its a lot more costly to downsize 8K than it is to downsize 4K, so we cant pay quite as much due to greater expenses.
