Do you make good pizza? Would you open a pizza shop?
I have watched a lot of pizza making videos and tried a bunch of times but I still can't get the crust right.
I got close yesterday and will try again today. I wish I was good enough to open a pizza shop. I always wanted to do that since I was 22. All dreams can't come true; but that sucks. :1orglaugh Any real pizza makers in the house? :thumbsup |

I don't think it would be too hard at all to open a shop. Maybe one that's already established then you could buy? Recipes come with I'm sure. |
Ilove Pizza and i want it... I want big salami pizza
|
I help make pizza around the house with the kids several times a month - but would I open a shop? No my religious belief's would not allow me to do it since I'm sure somewhere in the bible it says "never I say to thee - put pineapple on a pizza - so sayeth the Lord thy God"... and well... I just don't want to go to hell and if anyone asks - I'd have to by requirement of ancient customs be in my right to send them to hell for even asking for pineapple on a pizza.

I never try that sort of cooking at home. Best is to leave it to professionals.

What a horror, and the nerve to call it Hawaiian. :1orglaugh |

And the price would be high for sure. There is some dirt cheap property around my area to rent and that seems like the only way I could do it. |

:Oh crap |
I worked for a pizza place in Newport Beach many moons ago. Started making my own about 10 years ago. I like to use an iron skillet, you can see the caramelized edges yummy. It would be cool to open a pizza place because a lot of people dig it. :thumbsup

That looks really good!

I do make good pizza but i was always cheating - i was using premade ground, so i would customize only other stuff , cheese, two types of salami, sour cream, sweet corn.

The whole reason I want to do this is for my own pizza taste buds. I have to drive 8 miles one way to get what I call good pizza. The pizza I just made is still better than what's close to me. I don't like any of the big pizza franchises. :2 cents: |

You can serve shitty pizza, as Domino's has for decades. It's a bonus to have excellent ingredients. People of most ethnic groups eat that stuff up. You'll first need to know who is your competition within X mile radius of the folks you intend to also serve, make the decision if the pizza market is over/undersaturated, and then decide what to price your product at. |
Calling out crust master extraordinaire RandyRandy . . .

Stop appropriating my culture |
Try shovelling pizzas in and out of an oven on a hot summers day and the delusions will quickly fade.
https://www.giovannispizza.com.au/ https://www.instagram.com/pizza.giovannis/ Pizza shop near me that's a good template, online and local pickup only, insanely busy. Push the online and app sales. |
My wife makes a whole wheat dough... in addition to the sauce we add : four cheeses ( sweet Gorgonzola, eidam, mozzarella, parmazano), then spicy salami, fried mushrooms, coto ham, and on 1/2 of the pizza anchovies ( she hates anchovies). Then I bake it on a hot pizza stone on the barbecue. The best ! :thumbsup

No Knead Pizza Crust
Ingredients 2-1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast 1 teaspoon sugar 1 cup warm water 2-1/2 cups bread flour 2 tablespoons olive oil 1 teaspoon salt Instructions Preheat oven to 450 degrees. In a medium bowl, dissolve yeast and sugar in water. Let stand until creamy, about 10 minutes. Stir in flour, salt and oil. Let rest for 5 minutes. Lightly oil pizza pan to avoid sticking. Using oiled hands, press dough onto pizza pan and top with favorite toppings. Spread with desired toppings and bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown. |
