Chaturbate Banned My Affiliate Account After 8 Years (Had Good Income, Sent Them LOADS Of Members)
 

I feel devastated.

Since 2014/2015 I have worked with chaturbate. I was very happy to do work with them and never had any problems.

I ventured on to other stuff, and I have not promoted them much but left my domains and links live.

I have not even touched anything for a long time as I stopped promoting anything and moved on to other business but this was what letting me on my feet. I have been very busy these last couple of years as they have been for everyone, but I just feel like I am getting punished as I just got out of hospital due to covid and now I find out my account was banned, after renewing my domain name and checking it out.

I just feel devastated. I replied to support.. I just feeling devastated and confused on why they banned my account now all of a sudden. :(

These threads crop up sometimes and I have no idea why, since they always seem to be resolved through email support, never here, and the person asking for help updating the thread with "all fine now", without explaining anything that might be helpful to someone else in future.

BTW, the word "watch" has a C in it. (As in C the "bootylush" site in your sig).

Why they banned you ?

Just send them an email explaining this and you will have your account back but it will take a few days for them to reply.

To be honest, I am feeling more betrayed then devastated, but it sure was devastating for me due the fact that I worked with them for many years. They were almost my first when I started working in adult and now to see after so many years to just be banned like that is not fun.

I am sure they have their reasons and hopefully they will tell me why and to see if we can arrange this. I will be sure to post here whatever those reasons are and why I was banned to maybe help others not do the same mistake I did.

Just a bit FYI though - I have not touched the links or promoted them in years. I used to promote them and was just sitting on revshare and left the links and domains online. All domains were direct links to their revshare programs. The others were my porn sites and they had the same direct links. That's about it, I used to check my chaturbate maybe once a month and that's all I ever did.

I was making some good amount of revenue monthly and with no work at all I was still getting people to sign up here and there.

I did contact both of their emails that I found and I am just waiting for a replay. I also contacted Mohawk Steve but I am not sure if he still works with them. I am just hoping for the best and wish that they can take some of this into account. Whatever their reasons are and I am sure they have theirs I do wish to know what they are then just "you are banned" after over 8 years working with us.

Whatever I did I am not sure what it was - but I do apologize about it in advance. I have not promoted them in a while as I said so I am not really sure what did happen. This can literally break someone in half after all those earnings, working with them and after all these years it just goes away. All those hard work you put in basically was in for nothing. All those sacrificed made for nothing.

It's funny is it, after all this work with someone you have to remember that you ARE still working with someone (whenever it be an affiliate program, sending leads to some site, etc) - so that means they can ban you/fire you. Unless you have something stable that is ACTUALLY your platform then you are never really safe and there is always that risk.

Let's hope for the best.

They probably sent you an email about a DMCA and you didn't respond so they banned your account to get your attention.

Contact them, and if it's the case they will re-instate your account, seen this happen many times...

I am still currently waiting for their replay, have not heard anything from them yet.

Not sure what you mean by Fraud bans but It sure is a long shot, most companies don't really care about us is the word - but at least I would appreciate if they could tell me the reason.

I own my own porn studio, I have my own models working for me - I have a dozens of websites that are ranked and more domain names that I could ever handle and as far as I know I have never done anything that went against their rules. I have never done fraud, I always promoted revshare and and if I did ever break their TOS then hell it was a long time ago and I forgot about it, but I do expect that after 8 years of working with them they would at least give me a good reason to ban my account that brought them over thousands and thousands of members and close if not 1 million revenue instead of the "We Have Our Reasons, Account Banned, the revenue you brought us is now all ours, fuck you" type thing.

Good thing I don't depend solely on it otherwise I would have been more screwed but it sure did take a good hit loosing over 4000$ish monthly just like that all those years of hard work for what?

I spent years building this revshare up and went through hell to get it where it was and now gone just like that with the wind.

I like Chaturbate, I always enjoyed working with them and they been always great - I did not open this thread to cause them any harm but more to get help or vent out. 8 years working with someone the least you can get is a reason on why they are letting you off and removing your 20% cut out of all the members I got them over these years.

Based on simply Googling your username you could have been banned because your "years of hard work" entails stealing selfies of women, slapping on your URLs[1] with a false claim the women in the photos are working on adult cams, and spamming the pictures all over the intenet.

Maybe CB finally found out what you were doing - perhaps one of the women in the photos even reported it - and disagrees with you that it doesn't break their rules.

no one. That's why I usually only work with cpm/cpc based advertisements, not affiliate programs. I'm sure there are some trustworthy affiliate programs but chaturbate is not one of them.

The reason was pretty much found out and posted above. If you run a douchebag business model such as the OP, then you have to know that tons of complaints will come in at some point and you're putting your affiliate accounts in jeopardy.

How much did you earn a month?Seems they move all big paying affiliates

any shady method which brings money is legit to program until they start getting complaints.

anyway watermarking photos with url which redirects with affiliate code is as old as picposts from 90s.

A number of people here automatically assume that because there's something bad happening to a webmaster he's the one who f...c.ed up and cb had "its reasons". The benefit of the doubts seems to be weighing in favor of the corporation.

All is well so long as you get paid and nothing happens to YOU.

Anyone should at a minimum admit that it is not easy to get in touch with them. Especially now that Steve is gone. Every other sponsors I work with has a Skype contact, nothing ever escalate or hangs because both sides can clarify and rectify promptly if there's anything.

Find someone who can read to explain the thread to you, because there's a clear reason given why the OP could have been banned, whether you agree with it or not.

I now know the reason and therefore I am no longer devastated.

I will be updating this as promised on why it had happen so others can take note and learn.

We used to be a team of workers where they were working with a couple of my domains to gain traffic while I worked on other stuff - One of these videos from a couple of years ago (2017 or so) got found today by this model and that's it.

That was a different time back then. Back then I did not mind/understood much, now I do fully understand more on how everything works. It's been some time ago. It's a mistake I've let happen in the past came up to creep me up in the present. Just a FYI we don't do any stuff like that anymore.
