Kid tracking Elon Musk Jets. He was offered 5 grand to take down the stuff on Elon Musk's jets. Kid turned it down and said he would take it down for 50 grand and a Tesla.


I don't really like Elon. But it seems at the point where the kid made the counter-offer. That would be considered extortion.

Am I wrong?

I am thinking things will change if people start publicly tracking the private planes of politicians.

Well it would suck to get unsolicited "low ball" offers to stop legal activities and then it's illegal to negotiate for more.

Seems like a way to entrap someone if true.

I don't think he will get paid for shutting down the account.
Not after info about the "negotiations" went public.
Otherwise, people will keep creating the same accounts, and share the same information, since the information will remain open for the public.
