Domain Name
Hi, I want to buy a specific domain name. Yet, it's been listed for years as a premium domain name and costs a large amount of money. Is there a Domain registrar that allows you to make payments on a domain name?
Thanks in Advance |
Depends what "premium name" means.
If you mean someone already owns it and has a for sale page, they could list it at dan.com who do monthly payments. But you'd have to contact them, and they might not be interested. They may have thousands of names and be happy to wait for someone to pay the whole asking price. You could always save up whatever you'd be happy to pay per month and then buy it when you have enough. If it's been available for years it doesn't sound like anyone else is interested. Which also means you can make an offer of less than they're asking, if you can contact them. If you mean one of the crappy new extensions like xyz wtf lol then no, but they aren't worth registering anyway. And you'll be paying the same price in renewals every year, which is one reason so many are still unregistered. |

Dan.com is the only site I'm aware of currently that does the payment plan thing for domain sales |
Very often I purchase domains for a quarter of what the seller is asking, sometimes less. A big part of it is how you approach the conversation.
If the seller remains firm, then ask for zero interest installments over a period of time: 12-18-24-36-48-60 months. I'm finishing one transaction now for a family member. Seller went down from 7k to 2.5k, and is accepting 18 months worth of installments, interest free. |

I own NudesCity.com and want to sell that one as I decided I didn't want to just use it to redirect to my actual site as I originally planned. How much are you looking to spend?
