This is what I learned about adult industry and sex workers

I've been researching, observing, asking questions and posting all over the place for the last few months to learn more about the adult industry and sex workers. This is the most unusual community I've ever researched so far.

On one side there are sex workers, people who make money online or in real life, on the other side are clients and service providers (like websites). In this thread I'll share what I noticed about sex workers.
  • Usually, sex workers are women and they have a really hard time trusting people online, especially if those people are men.
  • Sex workers are usually looking for a "safe place" online, so they try to create their own communities like on Reddit or Discord and verify themselves. As mentioned above, they will do that only if the creator of the community is a sex worker and woman.
  • Because of Fight Online Sex Trafficking Act (FOSTA), they have fewer and fewer online places where they can share their experiences. For example, Switter (Twitter for sex workers that was made by sex workers) is being shut down
  • If you try to offer them something, even if that's free, or if it's educational they will reject it and think that you are just trying to use them
  • If you are not a sex worker, trying to enter the community will be extremely hard, unless you lie that you are a sex worker
  • They mostly trust companies, if you are an individual it's hardly that you'll gain their trust. Companies do have some credibility, so I guess that's the reason
  • They are extremely afraid that someone will use them, do something bad, trick them or similar

I don't know if I'm right or maybe I focused on some very specific community, but this is how I see it. What do you say?

No idea. Having been a 'Sex Worker' since the early 80s, this has never been something that I've cum across.

Because they see other people making money through those companies, which don't bullshit or insult them by claiming to 'only want to help' or educate them like they're getting it wrong. All they get from guys offering 'help' is someone wanting to leech off what they make and/or free wanks. What you've learned is they aren't as gullible as you thought they were.

so it took you that long to learn Day 1 shit bro. no worries that is how fucked stuff is now. I have models who will let me do all sorts of crazy stuff to promote them if I want, but they will not speak a single word to me outside of their chat rooms... you take what you can, give what you feel comfy with, try not to step on toes, and never ever perve on them if you really are looking for a date err answers :upsidedow

I started in the 90s as a stripper in a gay club. There were tons of men that were trying
to bang me and the worst were the ones that wanted to date me. I could write a book
on the games those assholes played. (btw I'm hetero but I do have my price.)

As a pornstar, I've had every possible loser in existence try to get close to me hoping that I'll
get them laid.

As a gigolo, I've had calls from women only to show up and it's a guy. I've gone
out on a couple call and the entire time it's the guy that wants my cock. I've been robbed,
and dealt with "cry babies," "drug addicts," "people with fetishes" etc... etc.. etc..

All I want to know now is ** What do they want ? ** and ** How much are they offering? **
When the deal is over they can fuck off and disappear. Don't call me unless they've got more
money for me.
