Butter wrap
 

You guys ever use a crockpot? I took a Chuck roast, browned the roast really really well in a cast iron frying Pan. Then butter wrapped it in butcher paper with a sliced onion salt and pepper.

Put it in the crockpot for about 6 hours on high. The roast came out great and created some great broth

I have some racks that I bought to put in the crock pot to keep meats from sitting on the bottom of the crock pot

I've been thinking about it and I'm pretty sure I could use my crock pot as a smoker, by my window or outside
