Best way to protect ownership of a subreddit?
I've had subreddits that I worked hard to patiently build up and then suddenly the plug was pulled on them for silly reasons (such as not replying to somebody).
I've got a couple of really good subreddits now I certainly don't want to lose. What is the best way (aside from trying your best to obey the 1,001 Reddit rules)? Multiple handles as moderators? Or could that result in your subreddit or accounts being banned? Inviting somebody you trust as a moderator (who could then add me back as a moderator if I got deleted)? How do you ensure you are still the top dog in such an arrangement? Any other suggestions? |
You can't.
Sooner or later someone is going to get upset and Reddit will pull the plug. Anyway, unless you're promotong Some kind of political crap, Reddit is garbage traffic. |
I know. It's scary to see subs deleted simply because there was no moderation for a small bit of time or any other silly reason etc....
I don't get it. It's not good for Reddit if the sub is active to have them delete an area people want to visit. |
