Quick Q for any Logitech 400+ Keyboard owners (no poo)

Do you find the batteries just last for ages and treat it like an apple keyboard, or do you turn it off overnight?

I have 2 Logitech MX Keys keyboards, one in the office on my iMac and one at home on my gaming PC.

I don't know how they do it, but the one I use with my iMac lasts 3-4x longer than the one I use with Windows.

I notice the same with the MX Master 3 mice as well.

Cool. Nice keyboards for sure. They are USB rechargeable though?

My 400Plus uses 2AAA batteries. I'm not really worried persay, as I have rechargeable AAAs on hand. Just wondering if I'm gonna be changing them all the time, or if it's worth trying to remember to switch it off.

My iMac keyboard uses 3 AA batteries, but seems to last forever, and there isn't an off switch as such. well, there is, but it's not something I'm being encouraged to do, nor do I need to...

Anyhoo, it's all good really, cause I'll find out soon enough i suppose by leaving it switched on 24/7 :)

I got the 400+ as a temp keyboard for use while I wait for the office roof to be repaired and can set up properly again, but I kinda really like it, so probably will stick with it in the future...

My Logitech keyboard I recharge once a week about I use same charger as my iPad I just plug it in for a few hours I have never turned it off I don’t think they use much battery when not in use.

I need to send my MX Keys to the service. It is under warranty but I am constantly delaying to stay without it. The reason is a well-documented bug with backlighting blinking even when the computer is turned off. So I don't know how long the battery lasts.

I have k800i in backup (my old keyboard), and the battery was ok, nothing extraordinary but definitely not bad.

I am also using K830i as a keyboard for Android TV and to control the computer remotely when using big TV as an extended desktop. It is hard to tell how long it lasted considering I am not using it much, but the last time I've recharged, it was 6 months ago or so. So overall, they are fine, I am using their products for years.
