Brad, MojoHost...
I hope you are dropping your Russian clients and closing their hosting accounts effective immediately.

i don't think any web hosting company's are closing customer accounts over this war. Plus its not like their is a nationality field in most signup forms for companies to even know who is Russian and who is not. |
Yeah Brad! close those accounts. That will teach Putin!!!!:1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh
|
I think the registrar Namecheap kicked all clients from Russia, advised them to move to other registrars, a few days back....

I see no point of doing that if you have paid hosting
|
Not sure they have a legal right to cut off a hosting account based on nationality.

That's why sanctions are important. So many piracy sites (and ad networks paying them) would be gone... |

i've been blocking Russian and Chinese traffic since 2016. war or not, these countries host a majority of the hackers on the Internet. if they can't clean up their own networks, they don't need to be on mine. unlike Mojo, i don't have to close any accounts to ban Russian clients. they never saw my site in the first place :1orglaugh # |
companies don't need to drop shit! you know civilian jobs are lost? it's fucking terrible!!! fuck off!!

I would think Brad is focused on taking care of his dozens of employees in Ukraine.

The point is that not all russians support putin. Also, for example, if some guy from russia live last 10 years in Poland for example, but still have russian passport? Is he good or not? The main point can be just not to work with russian companies because they pay taxes that are using for war. But ban all russians WW sounds a little bit strange.

http://img2.reactor.cc/pics/post/%D0...0-1308636.jpeg P.S. |

You know, I have thousands of customers around the World and I had a big banner "STOP THE WAR IN UKRAINE" at my site https://www.cyberseo.net/, but after reading so many thread like this and after getting this notice from Google: Quote:

Hi everyone,
What is wrong with you people? First of all, I didn't know this thread was here. My dear friends, next time please send me a text/FB/WhatsApp/Skype or smoke signal to let me know when I'm being trolled. I think in the last 20 years I've never gone this long without knowing there was a thread requiring my attention on GFY. LOL I have been busy taking care of the needs of my Ukranian fiance and the 21 Ukranian team members MojoHost has. You know, I love my team like family and we pay them during this terrible war whether or not they are able to work. Out of almost 10 million in annual sales MojoHost has a total of $85.50 per month billing for two VPS accounts owned by individuals residing in Russia. Does anyone else have any fucking questions? I pray every day for peace and everyone I know is tirelessly doing everything they can to support Ukraine. Slava Ukraini, heroyam slava! Brad |
