I tend to think yes. Men will be in more and looking for entertainment online.

I've seen this movie before.

Kids are back in school, fathers spend more time online. New devices for christmas, more people online. Everyone goes away for summer, no one pays for porn because they're too busy boating and wakeboarding. No sales during NYE, Superbowl, Halloween, World Cup, etc. Sales boom on Valentines because people are lonely.

Someone spending $14 more to fill up at the pump is not going to increase or decrease the sales on any individual site :2 cents:

At the start of the war, I saw a spike in sales like the start of past wars but things have tapered off for me. I'm hoping for growth though.

If I need money for gas then I think I will skip any porn membership.

I have to agree. With the cost of everything going up and up, frivolous spending will get cut first. Things I had planned on replacing this year are on the back burner until who knows when.

so many people don't understand that porn is not an expense. In the 21 years in porn, I've seen wars start and before the tubes, the wars meant a huge spike in porn sales. Porn is an impulse buy. When people are more stressed they need a way to relieve the added stress. No, I don't think porn memberships will spike because it's free everywhere... But Webcam and phone sex will continue to make money in stressful times. Like I said above feb 1st - 15th was the biggest billing period for CB in the last 6 mos by far. The war started feb 4th.

I've worked with the OP's Phone Sex company for 6 years as of this March and I've seen sales not fade during the pandemic because people need that release. It's like comfort food.

Our sales increased over the pandemic. I think we had a 300k increase over the year prior.

Covid was great for us! I'm hoping this goes the same way.

Adult is inelastic and goes up in times of crisis. In this new age of COVID and young kids not getting married/having kids, porn seems a very good bet.

Yes I do BUT anxiety is also an issue. I think people are anxious to get past Covid this year. The problems in Uktraine, as long as they don't spill over into the West, should not be an issue.

ok, i agree with onehunglo. When oil goes up, everything goes up, from baby products and food, electric, water, even rent, because everyone needs to cover their driving costs and the transportation :2 cents:

you´ll get some boost, from those wanting to stay home and watch porn, but the family guy or the guy who travels to work, lives a healthy life style shopping, all this will take effect.

I know last time there was a real crunch on money maybe 2003 or 4 People were losing their memberships left and right and they were begging to keep their memberships but they couldn't pay it

I see both sides because porn sites have been dead for a decade-plus with everything free on tube sites but I also know your phone sex company is nothing like porn sites and you can't find it for free on tube sites.

You mentioned St Patrick's day and I just read that my hometown closed a block down and for the first time ever had green beer tents. It had the biggest turnout ever as far as beer sales. The last 2 years bars have been shut down on st Patrick's day. People wanted to get out and drink. People are still spending money, they are just skipping vacations because of gas prices.

as stated, discretionary spending will go down as people will have to spend more of their money on price increases exacerbated by higher gas prices, inflation, etc

Hey!. I'm over 45 and I have no problem with rubbing one out.

Neither does my husband....but now it's once every week or two weeks opposed to once daily when he was in his early thirties.

Then again, I'm not in the shower with him...but I definitely know if he's taking longer than usual and I will almost always sneak in and scare the bejesus out of him. Gotta love a ruined orgasm :1orglaugh
