Having Issues with Using Your CC at Namecheap?

My US bank is refusing to authorize. Having to move some domains.
Heads Up!

Assuming its sanction related. Card is working and in use.

I guess everyone else is fine here. :)

I think that basing your business on a company called Namecheap is a bad idea. Just sayin'

They have been great to deal with in the past. Very security conscious and great, fast customer service. If this processing issue had not come up I would not be shifting away.

Actually that's true. It's an Ukrainian domain-reselling company and they are affected by all that shit with banking issues. Yeah the sanctions are intended to work against Russia only, but the Ukraine gets affected too as a coalition damage. So it's a bad idea to use Namecheap during the war. Personally I've got rid of all my domains there about 5-7 years ago.

P.S. And their domains are not cheap at all. As far as I remember, they charged me even for a privacy protect for every domain as a separate service.

Namecheap is a US company. They have global offices but it's a US company.

I did not know that. All of their staff seem to be eastern European.
