Should you consider having a free version of your porn paysite?

This is in connection to my other post: https://gfy.com/fucking-around-and-b...es-missed.html

Lets say you have a porn pay site/members site.

But then you have the same site free, so no one needs to pay.

However you make your money on the free site by having firms have adverts in your films. You could also have the films on the free site as a lower quality. So the pay site is 4k and the free one is HD.

The idea being that you may a profit with the free site with the adverts.

And you will get x amount of people paying to upgrade to see everything in the pay site with no adverts and better quality.

The free site may even make you more money than the paysite. Not to mention create huge traffic.

Lets say it costs you $5000 per film to shoot (actors, and so on). You could charge $6000 for a firm to have an advert permanently at the start of the film. A film that will be on your site for years and years and downloaded and pirated to other sites. So it is seem by millions of people over the years. In truth the advert may be seen by many many many many more people than say some event such as the super bowl (or whatever it is called as I am not into sport), that charges I believe millions for an add spot that will be seen once.

Doing that you have already made a profit. So any joins to your site is a bonus.

Lets face it, chances are most if not all your vids are on a few sites now pirated for free. So at least this way you make the money are are in charge, and you wont care if the films with adverts in them are pirated, as more they are, the more people see the adverts.

The fact that you think "a firm" is going to spend $6k for an "advert" in the beginning of a porn scene is fucking hilarious.

Toys, fake Viagra and maybe if you're really lucky
you'll talk a swinger club into paying for an ad.

But at best you'll get a few hundred and you'll
probably have to work really hard to talk them
in to it.

the reason ads work on tubes is traffic. Your paysite, this not meant to be a dig at you, my paysite, anyone´s paysite, Doesn´t gain the same kind of traffic as the tubes receive, so you´re advertising wouldn´t bring in the same kind of trade...

and why do you think you get a free tour, to tour the content and then people purchase the membership...

if you´re planning on showing all your content for free, just put it on the tubes and earn from views with their creator plans.

With all respect, this idea of a free version of a paysite without any means of bringing in an income or profit apart from ads will not work :2 cents:

I already have a few firms who would pay £10k for an advert on a porn film, providing the quality was good and it got enough views on a porntube.

One is looking to sell shavers (as in the old fashioned type, not electrical).

They see porn as a great market for young males.
