Looking young for your age - a curse then blessing
 

Wondering if anyone else can relate to this,

Growing up I always looked young as fuck for my age, which was very embarrassing. Imagine being 23 and looking 13....that was me. I always hated looking so young for my age, ALWAYS being mistaken and treated much younger. You are treated how you are perceived...if you look like a kid you get treated like one.


I remember always saying this shit to myself during the hard times.... "It'll pay off eventually"

And it did. Now at 37 years old I look like I'm 24, and people are always impressed now, whereas in the past it was more like "oh really you are that old.... damn you look so young I thought you were in grade 4 not high school" Looking young for your age pays off EVENTUALLY haha but for a long time it's super lame. Ironically when growing up, it makes you look under-developed and weak, like you are just not up to grade. But then as you get older and look youthful for your age, it's more impressive like wow you are doing quite well! Fucking hilarious.

Anyone else experience this? Anybody here 60 and look 40? I'm going for that lol.

I am 37 too, and when i had winter hat and mask in store to buy drink, they would always ask for ID. But without hat no.

haha yeah it can be harder to tell age with the mask on.

Without the hat are you bald or partially bald? cause that'll make you look older lol

Yes i do have bald spot on crown area of head.

Clothes can also affect how old you look. And of course facial hair. A lot of my problem was I didn't grow facial hair till I was 29 which is pretty fucked up.

Right now I could literally put on youthful clothes, shave my face, and blend in at the local high school as an 17-18 year old in grade 12. Could easily do that if i purposely made myself look younger.... tho I'm not going for that look lol If only I could stay looking in my 20's for a long time......

haha me too. I always wear a hat though so nobody even knows this about me... my little secret.

Get a military haircut and it wont be noticeable. That is what i just did and look much better then with long hair where i look like a bald hobo.

Start doing meth . . . that'll age you rapidly.

Kinda weird having pedo's hitting on you during your early-mid 20s :(

Although now having late teens and early 20s chicks at work working their body language cues and taking selfies with you is nice :pimp

Tip.. use sunscreen (lots of it! way more than you think you need).. I didn't though... Probably all that time I spent in my moms basement :1orglaugh

Get into skincare if you want..

Yeah.. had to drop my mask down a few times... that wrinkless forehead does it everytime :1orglaugh
