Roe vs, Wade about to be overturned

This is just crazy.

So many disadvantaged families will be affected by this for generations to come :(

I will never understand the obsession with abortion in the US. There is no reason not to allow abortion; None at all.

If you don't want an abortion, don't get one. It has zero impact on you. If you don't like it, well, too bad. I don't like people who drive Subarus but there is no reason to outlaw them.

Isn't it a matter of religious extremism?

Would be hard to understand unless you share the same belief system, kind of like how it's hard to understand why someone would shout about Allah and blow themselves up.

To a somewhat sane person that just doesn't add up.

Conservatives and Christian Evangelicals specifically love to shove their religion and morality down your throat, but they of course won't adhere to it. Kind of like getting upset about gay marriage while you're on your third or fourth marriage.

There are certain situations where abortion would be immoral, example, having abortion at 7 or 8 months in.... or having abortions 5x per year

Yea because after 7 or 8 months inside the womb kids are super conscious and already planning what shitcoins they are going to invest in ;) But to be fair, after the 4th month or so abortion is not legal in the most liberal of European countries, unless special circumstances.

And why is it immoral to have it 10x per year? Irresponsible maybe.

A better question would be, who the hell is he to tell others what is and isn't immoral?

Anyway, those aren't the types of abortions the Republican/Christian Taliban want to outlaw. If they have their way, they'll completely ban all abortions, period.

Those types of situations are outliers and laws are easy to make to address them. An outright ban on abortions really isn't necessary.

I added a small piece to my original reply because those kind of abortions are not even on the table. As you seem well aware of but just making a note.

It's crazy to see this in the US.
I'm used to it from other parts of the world where having an abortion even if raped is considered sacrilegious and can end you up in prison same as if you killed someone.

But in the US, wow, it's just amazing how a country can be so ahead and so behind at the same time :upsidedow

I agree. I'm pro-choice (with reasonable limits) on abortion and agree an outright ban doesn't seem right. :Oh crap

So basically this is Sharia law.... laws based on someone's religion. This is not how we create laws in the United States. We do not create laws based on religion.

This is insane. What's next? Make gay marriage illegal? Porn? Subarus? (Yes, Subarus - the cars.)

The far-right get really offended when you point out that they're just a lighter pigment version of the Taliban.

But it's true - far-right is far-right, regardless of skin pigmentation. :thumbsup

I love the "small government" republican party. I still can't comprehend how abortion actually affects anyone other than the people getting them. Also I find it amusing how they are obsessed with foetuses but have no interest in all the abandoned children around the world, or even one separated from their parents for the sin of wanting a better life... Strange world.

Even RGB said that Roe versus Wade was incorrect. It's all about state's rights. If citizens in States that are anti-abortion want to change it they need to elect new legislators. It's really pretty simple. If they don't have enough votes then that means the people of the state don't agree with them.

And only someone as stupid as you would suggest that they would outlaw Subaru and actually believe it. You are a true dumb fuck.

Amazing. Nowhere in the constitution does it mention abortion. Nowhere in the constitution does it mention a woman's right to choose anything regarding her body or anyone's body for that matter. The SCOTUS should kick it down to a state level. Don't like it? - vote with your feet.

That would be permissible because white people are "literally toxic." It has already started on college campuses.

Punctuality, discipline, hard work, excellence is bad these days. In reality, it’s easier to bring 1 group down than several groups up. But this is all apart of the globalist plan:

Attack men (leaves a group defenseless)
Attack religion (no cohesion)
Attack cultural values (no shared common direction and history)
Attack the family (state becomes the parent and thus imbues the child the way it sees fit.

Conquer

Public opinion is a pendulum. It swings from far left, to far right, to far left, to far right. I believe we are already starting to swing back right because the degeneracy we see every day has simply gone too far.

The swing back right can be seen in many facets. Even politically, right-wing parties are starting to get higher and higher in the polls as can be for instance seen in Frances recent presidential election.

Read what happened in Wiemar Germany shortly before the rise of the Nazi party, and it starts sounding a bit familiar.

Exactly.

On the political right, they want to tell you what's moral and 'how to live your life' according to their viewpoints (ex: abortion).

On the political left, they want to tell you what's moral (covid, political correctness etc...) and 'how to live your life' according to their viewpoints.

Nobody should tell you what to do.

Same. It's another way of telling someone to do something, or telling them how they 'have to' live their life. Not good.

The political right hates the left right now (it's the far left really) because they are being tyrants with their covid and general wokeness. And they are. But the right also does the same thing in their own way; abortion, Jesus and war.

Right, this "leak" is just the precursor to that...

And, just like that, the far-left has taken to the streets once again threatening to "burn it all down" the same way they did in 2020.

I'd be remiss if I also didn't point out this "leak" came the same day Pfizer vax docs were released and the "2000 Mules" documentary came out... but, nothing to see there.

Summer 2022 will be nothing but more 2-4 word chanting, rioting, and other nonsense by the far-left... yay.

In all honesty, that might just be what we need as a country, a real, true to life revolution to sort this shit out.

I don't care which side (left or right) propogate it, but its seeming more and more like a good shakeup is what is going to be needed in order to set us (America) back on track as a country, I mean shit, we used to be admired around the globe to the point where even those countries who would harbor terrorists were afraid of us, nowadays it seems like everyone and their dogs want to poke us with a stick.

Of course this isnt helped by social media being as proliferant as it has grown to be over the past 15 years, letting any asshole with a camera put videos online to sway the peons opinions one way or another.

Yet history shows the vast majority of revolutions actually help to bolster the well-being of those who need help the most, Latin-America, France, America, any revolution in the last century has (ultimately) helped with a countries further positive economic and political development.

The Latin American revolution for example, allowed those individuals who were not being supported by their government, access to services they needed, housing, health, employment, food.

The French Revolution, allowed citizens basic rights that were denied for so long, property ownership, equality amongst citizens, seperation of religion and government (just like American Revolution).

These are all, seemingly, what people in this country have issue with these days and granted, its a different era than back then but, while at the outset revolution is devisive by its very nature, at the end many of these countries that have gone through revolt, even in recent times (last 50 years) have come out of it better... For its citizens.

The government here has lost its way, its no longer a government 'of the people, for the people' insteads it a method for those in power to remain in power, while doing as little as possible to benefit the country or its citizens and ultimately, that is what a lot of these movements (BLM, MeToo etc) are trying to rectify, with little to no success.

I'm not an advocate for violent protest typically but sometimes, that *is* the only way to make clear-cut, positive change.

MakeMeGrrrrowl 05-04-2022 11:19 AM

The government just fucks with our emotions. I think they enjoy it.

Anonymous Hackers Warn Supreme Court Against Overturning Roe vs. Wade: 'Expect Us'

Quote:

Hacking collective Anonymous has warned the U.S. Supreme Court against striking down the landmark Roe v. Wade decision, adding that it may “get burned” if it does so.

In a Twitter post published Tuesday, Anonymous said the Supreme Court and Republicans should “expect” some type of retaliation should they repeal Roe v. Wade decision. The landmark decision was made in 1973 when the Supreme Court ruled that governments lacked the power to prohibit abortions and that it was a woman’s right to terminate her pregnancy in the first three months of pregnancy.

“Repealing Roe v Wade isn't going to go the way SCOTUS or the GOP thinks it's going to go. Play with fire, get burned. Don't say we didn't warn you,” the hacking collective wrote. “Expect us.”
