Had no idea they were doing a series.

Very cool. Fond memories of watching that as a child.

I was a Chef for the original movie, scenes they shot in Queenstown NZ anyways. Was fun times they'd fly us out to the filming location by helicopter or a hair raising 4 wheel drive.

The new version does not seem to have the energy or fun, of those early films.

Spirit of the 80's is dead.
