Firefox is dying. Here's why this is bad

I still use Firefox and it's my preferred browser. It would be a shame to see it disappear.

It would. I use it as my main browser, for browsing and for dev. I don't want Google to know about everything I do on the web, Edge is just a Chrome clone now, and Safari is terrible (still doesn't support lazy loading images by default). Firefox isn't perfect but I don't know what else I'd switch to if it disappeared.

I don't get why the guy in the video said Edge is pretty good, but he simply won't use it because it's a Microsoft product. Does it make sense to hate MS that much?

I like waterfox much better.

I think Microsoft's products and reputation are slowly improving under newish CEO Satya Nadella, but there was definitely a time when Microsoft's user experience left a lot to be desired, like the old versions of Internet Explorer, and I used to sigh when Microsoft took over a company making good products I used, Skype being one example.

i think firefox opens up like 50 million processes in windows now. no wonder it's dying. it sucks.

Firefox is more convenient to use for me and has features that Chrome don't.
Also you are more free from Google tracking.

Chrome is much better with its DEV tools and integrated translator - which sometimes work, sometimes not.

Using Firefox as main browser and Chrome for websites checking / inspecting - sometimes.
