How much should I charge for a hentai website?

So I have created this hentai website with wordpress and the wp-script Retrotube theme and WPS Mass Embedder, the website is new, has no traffic what so ever (for now), but its indexed on google and i have worked on the seo for the categories page the hompage and about 100 videos plus the domain name is pretty good and related to the nich I dont wanna add it in the post i think it may be flagged as self promotion or spamming

Now I have put my website for sale on namepros and asbmarketplace, the package includes the website, the premium domain name, and of course the wp theme and embedder plugin, the site is responsive and fast, focused on Hentai and its most famous sub niches, this was not meant for sale but I got unexpected charges from other business so here I am offering the whole website and the domain name for $2k

but i havent got any engagement, my question is about the price, is it realistic, is it fair, is the package value less than $2k, I know people sell wordpress sites for 2k tha includes neither the domain name nor plugins or premium theme, thank you in advance for you support guys and excuse the long post.

How can we possibly put a value on something we cannot see? Its like me making a post asking how much my car is worth. Yet instead of giving you the model and year and mileage...

Objectively speaking; you will be lucky to get $50 USD for the domain name and the WP-Script theme and embed plugin, because that's what you're essentially selling.

If you had any traffic whatsoever, any earnings, any traffic partnerships, etc. you would be able to ask for more money, but considering that you don't have anything apart from the domain name, WP-Script theme and embed plugin, you really can't set your expectations that high.

You also need to understand some things, for example:

- 100 videos is absolutely nothing, especially when they're embedded. You need lots more, lots.

- On-site SEO is something that needs to be done regardless, so you can't really add that into the price for the site. It would take you maybe a good hour to do the entire on-site SEO (especially if you have the ready text from a copywriter).

- Being indexed on Google doesn't mean anything until you actually start getting traffic, and you need backlinks for that (99% of the time).

- You can build a 100K/day website with or without a premium domain name, you can even do so without a domain name. SAFF.cc -- Fetish forum uses an IP address since its inception, and the domain is simply there so that the people who don't bookmark it or don't trust the IP address in search results can access it. So whether or not your domain is a premium one or not, it is worth absolutely nothing in any aspect other than the emotional one.

I can tell that you are very much emotionally invested, so you shouldn't try to be selling it anyway. Spin it up on a cheap Digital Ocean droplet, set auto-import through a cron job, and forget about it. Focus on the businesses that make you money. In a year, it may have some traffic, or it may not. But at least you won't hate yourself for letting it go for how much it's actually worth.

Thanks a lot sir for the tips, very useful for a beginner like me, If you could point me to a thread or something with how to create backlinks (preferrably white hat, i dont want google hurting my baby website), and some ways for free traffic, I tried to promote on reddit but i got booted obviously, so what Im doing right now is creating gifs on redgifs and i included my website link in the profile, with the intent to share them on reddit twitter etc, hopefully i get some decent traffic from that

- Backlinks are either bought, gained through UGC (User Generated Content) means, link exchange, or created by yourself; either through spamming or manual creation, e.g. something like a PBN (Private Blog Network) but in any case, you still need to start from somewhere, so an investment is necessary unless you have unique content that will get a lot of shares by surfers.

In your case, the most ideal approach (if you have available funds) is to create a couple more websites, do a few link exchanges, and link your hentai tube through them. It will take a couple of months for the links to come into effect, though.

In any case; I'm sorry to be the bringer of bad news, but nothing will change in a month's time. You will not be able to do anything that will bring the website's value up to $1,000 USD in that short window of time, unfortunately.

So.. either keep working on it as is (without hoping to sell it for $1,000 USD in a month's time) or simply work on something that will bring you money.

U r right, yea thanks for the reality check my guy XDD what u said makes sense, thanks for the advice and tips, tho what i meant is earning $1k in a months time from ads, but again a website that makes that kinda money from ads is probably worth >= $1k soo, Im gonna keep working on the website im low on funds so since u mentioned to ge make money some other way if u have some in mind id be grateful if u can share some, maye something thatll get me the funds to work on the website, meanwhile im gonna do some seo on the website regularly and try to make like a blog websie or something and do some link exchange, also will try to get my website in some of those indexing sites, and try the sharing gifs and what not in reddit and other social media, I also just thought of something, there are websites with like sex stories, its just text and they have good number of ppl visiting, mayber ill try to share some content and see if i can link my website in there, anyways I digress

I thnk this year is one of the worst times to start a pirated content tube. You did a nice job on the site.

Be sure to force redirect the root domain to https. Because now you have a duplicated index page running on both http and https.

so you registered some random domain, installed wordpress+wp-script, imported a few videos and you want to charge something for that? :1orglaugh where is some value, what actutal work did you do? :1orglaugh

I am talking about the domain name you have, that your trying to sell.

So you post a screenshot from one of many hundreds of sites. Yet the one you post that is basic probably makes more money in a day that yours does in a year, and probably has more traffic.

to be clear, you have a site with a poor .com name, a few vids on a wp site. Its worth nothing. But some mug may buy it.
