Blink camera - prime sale - wow

In the UK Amazon Prime sale yesterday they had the Blink camera on offer.

So for under £55 I got the Blink Outdoor 1-Camera System (it is not clear on the site but if you get the system it comes with the Sync Module 2 that you need (it is very unclear about this and you can read people have purchased the Sync Module 2 separate not knowing it comes with it). With it I also ordered the Echo Show 5 (it was only £10 extra).

So just under £55 for the lot.

The Echo Show 5 comes tomorrow, but got the Blink Outdoor 1-Camera System today.

I am very impressed, and may get another camera or two in the next prime event to add to it.

Sounds good. I had a set. But I got the weird feeling Amazon was always watching. So I gave it to my brother.

Also don't want any evidence out there in case I am put in a bad situation.

They can watch me all they want.

But what is good about this new kit is you do not need to have the films upload, and you pay.

You can plug a memory stick thing into the box and it saves the files to it (ordered one from ebay as I never use them).

Also you could plug the main box into a battery, so if someone did break in, you could hide it behind a wall and it would record even if they turned the power off.

You can set it to turn on different times of the day.

And you can block things, such as a tree. So if you have a tree that moves in the wind, you can blank that area out.

I have not even put mine outside, its on my window inside looking out, as its the perfect angle. If you have it above people wear hats to cover the face. This points directly at the person coming.

I will get one or two more in the next sale. One for the back just so I can watch the foxes and so on at night.

And I may get one for inside so I can keep an eye on the dogs, if I go out.

I will probably get my mate one, just so she can keep an eye on her dog.

Not sure if the Echo Show 5 is much use. But it was only £10 more. Otherwise the kit was about £40. But for £10 it should act as a monitor to the cameras.

If you get one, make sure you change the settings. As its set to 720 not 1080.

Also I turned the red flashing light off so no one knows if its on or not.

Not only ARE amazon always watching, but they are happy to give your footage to law enforcement, without a search warrant or your permission.

I have 4 Victure PC420 cameras installed in my house and 6 Imou 4mp outdoors along with a Hikvision DVR. I'm pretty impressed with the quality of both brands.

They just got busted here providing law enforcement with data and video from customer cameras without a warrant or even notifying the customer in advance (which they were required to do).
